Hi what software do you use to find apartments. Do you use apartment data or smart apartments? Also can you just look on your own for apartments that have available units to rent take pictures of the place and videos and post it and generate leads. Would you have to go through your brokerage for that or can you do it on your own if you work for a brokerage

Hi keisha ! I have started to dive into apartment locating and have an interview with Smart city DTX this week! I heard you mentioned that you have your masters degree , I have recently just got my bachelors degree and I was wondering with a job in sales does having a degree help at all with income? are there any privileges for having a degree? my degree is in communication so I don’t know if that will matter or if you have to start at ground one like everybody else???

Hi Keisha! I just started as a locator in Denver. I love that you said that you're more selective with touring. That's what I'm struggling with starting out. How do you determine if someone is likely to sign? I love your videos!

It's definitely hard to figure it out but it really comes down to determining why they're moving and IF they're actually moving. I usually weed out people who are wishy washy or can't tell me that they're definitely moving and have a plan in place to move. When it comes to touring, I always ask if they're ready to apply/sign because there's no point in touring today if they're not going to apply for 2 weeks.

Hi! Thank you!! Since we’re independent contractors, we can take time off whenever we want! I’m out of town right now and am going on another trip this week and didn’t need to ask at all. I just mentioned it to my manager in passing
