I don't think the acoustics in the new office are all that great. It's a lot larger and more open, and seems to be more prone to echo. Their first few videos had god-awful audio. They worked most of it out, it sounds like, but I guess the new settings don't play well with higher amplitudes.

Only one of them gained an official hero name before the episode Michael mentions, and it happens to be the character that had an entire arc dedicated to his conflict with inheriting his brother's hero name. So, I kind of doubt that has anything to do with Michael's lack of memory.
