Played this many, many times a day as a child and even as an adult ( no computer or games when I was growing up) later as an adult rummy became a favorite. Good to see you introduce this back to the younger generation ❤️

Hi hon! I'm am so grateful for this video. My grandpa would play this all of the time. He passed 6 yrs ago. I've been asking my whole family about this game and no one knew what I was talking about. I couldn't remember how to play. Thank you so much for bringing this game to us. I feel like I have a piece of my grandpa back. Much love from the Carolinas! 💜

My dad taught me this game many, many years ago. I've always enjoyed playing it and have won quite a few times. Thank you for showing it. I like holding the cards in my hand instead of electronic games.

Thank you so much. I hope you do lots more of these. My dad always kept a deck of cards next to his chair. I never knew what he was playing. He never told us. But I know a half dozen solitaire games. I played this for several hours today. Looking forward to seeing more. God bless.

I used to play solitaire games in highschool between classes. I was addicted. I played a game like this, except the way I learned it, you could only remove all four cards at the end if they were all the same suit or value. The only possible way to win would be to be holding four matching cards at the end, so you discarded them all. Needless to say, this was nearly impossible. I don't recall if I ever actually won, but it was still fun. Drawing from the deck while holding it looks really awkward. I just set the deck on the table/desk and drew from it. Also I fanned out all the cards in my hand, not just the last four. My hand would cramp up after a while, but it became very strong.

Gosh, it's years since I've played this game, thanks for reminding me how it's played. Have you ever played 'Tens, Twenties and Thirties?' It's not too easy to get out but not that difficult either and like this one relies a lot on chance. Lay out three rows of five cards, face up, on top of each other but allowing you to see all the cards (like in Klondike). Remove a group it they make 10, 20 or 30 (face cards count as ten). Lay another row of cards. You can now only remove three cards as follows, all three from the bottom, one from the top and two from the bottom, or two from the top and one from the bottom, they must make 10, 20 or 30. Add the cards removed to the bottom of the pack. Keep laying out rows of cards and removing groups until you get the game out or you run out of cards. It's great for learning how to add cards up to 10, 20 or 30 at speed 😅

What do you do if you get four of the same suit? Do you remove all four or just the two middle ones?

Great, hi FiSpi! Thank you😊 I play different Solitaire everyday to help my mind keep tiptop. It’s on an app with lots of Solitaire type games & the ones I like are Double (pack) Klondike, but there are Single pk too. & oops I am on my mob not ‘tablet’ so shall continue with some game names l8r. I only play about 5 types depending on the mood & sleepiness! And I am impressed you play the game in real life which is similar to one a lady in England taught me c 65 years ago… called Going for a Walk. That was in the days of reality LOL - had to find a nice table top (space)! 💓j, c & p in Oz

Cool. I hadn't heard/seen this one before and I love learning new games. Especially ones you can play alone that do require you to do a bit of thinking too. Thanks! Oh, and I'd guess that you lost this hand unfortunately lol. Think I'd do something like count up the points you still held in your hand, jot that down on a pad for every hand, adding them up each game until you reached oh say 100 points. Then count how many hands/games you played to reach that. If it took you at least say maybe 20 games to do that then you could consider it a running win or something. Just add a bit of thinking and excitement to the play.
@snospmoht3252 Жыл бұрын
Oh, and every hand you DID win and get to discard all the cards, you'd subtract 100 points from your running total. 😊

The quiz was a bit more complicated and the answer is no but it is very interesting to me because it was very simple to explain the difference in how to do the math in a different language than in the other classes I have been in and the results were pretty interesting to read the answers are pretty simple and I really enjoyed the results I have been very interesting to learn more and more and the answers were really good I think the best thing I learned is the most basic one is that you have a question that is really simple to ask the questions that are very important and I have a question to ask and then you have a lot to ask you can answer it and you have to ask the answer is that question that you can do it all you can do you know what I don’t have to ask you have to do you know how much I have to ask me to ask me a lot more
