Goodness, more heavy rain. We have been getting a lot of rain here in Central Kentucky also. Got nearly two inches last night within an hour! Oh what a nice Washing machine!!! I so understand your excitement over this! Front loader washers are the BEST for large bulky items like your horse blankets. Top loaders just don't work well with things like that. I still remember how happy I was with my front loader when I first got it, that I could finally wash my extra large dog beds thoroughly. Plus they also come with gentle cycles, that can wash small delicate items easily too. I also love how front loaders use less detergent and do a more thorough job of cleaning, as the items roll over each other and really just get the dirt out so well. Big Love for front loader washers!!! What a wonderful gift.

The new washer will be a gamechanger for you. Perhaps you could find space for a "Sheila Maid"? A dryer that is suspended from the ceiling, either in the laundry or in the stables, so you can hang wet rugs etc to dry naturally. It would save money on electricity for a tumble dryer, especially in the winter. Rather than an oven, you could just have an airfryer in there too. Just a few ideas. Have fun with the new washer. 😁

With 4 boys, this washer will be a wonderful addition to your family. Yes, you will need a second one if possible. One can be washing while the other is drying. With all that rain from the eaves, it would be great to use it to fill the washers........My dad had rain barrels to collect the water, and used it when the summer drought hit. So great to see Jenny's happiness in receiving a wash machine! And Nick is on the case! He'll have the laundry room in functional order in no time. Great to see "Paul" helping with the heavy lifting.
