One Hour 8x8 Mini Album

This One Hour 8x8 Mini Album is perfect if you need a quick make a Super Quick Mini Album. Deciding on which papers to use will take you longer than making the album.

Supplies you will need are;
11 x A4 Cardstock at least 250 - 300gsm
2 Grey Board
21 sheets of 8×8 Patterned Papers
Tools needed ;
Scoreboard
Paper Trimmer
Bone Folder
Glue
Dies for cutting decorative edges optional
Card cut at;
1 at 8 1/4″ x 8 1/2″ OR 21cm x 22cm
9 at 8 1/4″ x 10″ OR 21cm x 25.5cm Score at 8 1/4″ & 8 1/2″ OR 21cm & 21.5cm on the long side.
1 at 8 1/4″ x 7″ OR 21cm x 18cm Score at 2 1/4″ OR 5.75cm in on both ends on the short side.
Cut Grey board at; 2 at 8 1/4″ x 8 1/2″ 21cm x 21.5cm
Patterned Papers;
20 at 8″ x 8″
1 x for decorative edges of your wrapped hinge.

Imso glad i found you again I use to fallow you but I had a tragic death with my 3 year old baby 3 1/2 years ago so i stopped doing my crafts. I deleted all of my saved saved vidios. Well im feeling a little better and all my family and friends are asking me when i was goi g to make album again. So sorry to hear the sad loss of your Baby and my heart goes out to you, I can’t imagine to think how this affect your life. However, I am delighted to know you are ready to craft again and personally I do find crafting a great therapy. It’s a way of having me time and expressing yourself through craft. Oh my word Dawn, thank you thank you for such an amazing BEGINNER friendly totorial of your 8 × 8 album l am totally in love with this album and the way you constructed it, l have a craft room that looks more like a craft shop ha ha l have everything from glues, tapes, brads, loads of paper pads assorted sizes, rolls and rolls of washi the list goes on, but moving from DIY crafts for the home, gifts ect to paper making items, journals, album's ect, although l have litrely watched hundreds of tutorials on albums for beginers l just hadnt found the one, until now l cant tnank you enough as most beginner friendly albums are not realy that beginer friendly and l have wasted a lot of good card stock trying to atchive the one, so l just watch now for ideas and write down some parts of different tutorials that l feel comfortable and able to do and was going to put all those ideas together and try make my own style of photo album for a trip my husband and l recently done, l can scrap all that now thanks to you Dawn my darling because this is by far the best and easiest album l have ever found, you definitely have a new subscriber for sure, will also join your Facebook page and send you a photo of my finished very first album, l cant wait to start, Happy New Year and keep them coming l love love your work 😄 Lee, Australia xox

This is absolutely great, Dawn! I am definitely going to make this. I do have a couple of 8 x 8 pads but I also have far more A4 gel prints (once I get started with the gel plate I can't stop lol!). I love the square format of this journal and think it would lend itself very well for adding some of my artwork to, because it allows for both portrait and landscape. I love how it lies flat! This has to be one of the coolest videos I've seen recently and I'm super keen to try it. Thank you! PS Just thought of another advantage - if you cut your papers for the pages from A4, you are left with loads of cool offcuts ready to make pockets and other interactive stuff! The album is a great size and shape for using A4 paper and would also work perfectly with US Letter sized paper.

I absolutely LOVE your videos!!! You are amazing to watch and soothing to listen to as well. In one video I watched you said which glue you use and I cannot find it now. I'd love to know which glue you use and the manufacturer of the fine tip glue applicator too! I am in the U.S. and hope to be able to find it. Thanks soooo much!

Thank you so much for giving us your free tutorial. I am a visual learner and not many people offer this service. Can I please ask do you have a tutorial for a large 12x12. I need to make a larger album for a friend who has been given a terminal diagnosis and she wants a large album for her children and time is of the essence. I don't mind paying for the tutorial, I have all of Pink Frog cardstock to use. I bought the kits from C&C but the measurements are all in cm and looking at the instructions has made my head ache lolol. Many thanks in advance.xxx
