I really enjoyed the tutorial..will be making several of these...love the fact that it uses the 6x6 pads..great prints usually in these and just right sizing for smaller minis. I am also so glad I found your channel...you are an easy instructor to follow and easily understand your words. I am older and cannot understand many who instruct. Seems they mutter a lot now a days...so this is one of the main reasons I enjoyed watching your tut...easy, quick, gorgeous ideas and easy to listen to. Well Congratulations Jennifer! my son's birthday is the 27th so a great month..... Yes these are great minis to share and this one is perfect for a first project. I used to make lots of mini books filled with photos of my children for my Grandmother who was in a nursing home. They are a great size and they love to share them with nursing staff and visitors. I am sure it will be a gift she will treasure. Dx

Having just watched this wonderful tutorial I have had to get onto ebay and order this exact paper pack not because I don't already have enough paper but these colours will be perfect for my nieces wedding. This is darling and your tutorial is very easy to follow. I love making mini albums and love 6x6 and 8x8 paper pads. I'm thnking a leather binding would look awesome, something lightweight that will still bow a little bit and would be very sturdy and durable. I'm going to give this one a try in a few days.

I enjoyed your video so very much.. I also like using wet glue mainly because it affords us a bit of wiggle room. I love the tip of painting the edges. I will put that to use. And your tip of scoring both sides of the cardstock. I have had problems with the paper cracking at the fold so this is a very good tip for me. Thank you for sharing. Hi Dawn, I really enjoyed pausing your video through the stages and making with you ;-). I did not have the wood for the cover so I used presentation foam board which worked a treat and I had to use double sided tape. I must get some wet glue.Once I have decorated it I will send you the results of my first attempt. What I love about these books is the endless variety of finish you can get. Thanks so much for making your vids!!

One thing you could do to the spine is to stamp it - that way it wouldn't interfere with opening the book! Loved this tutorial and I will be making several, I am sure!

Love your YT videos. I have been watching several in the last year but never made anything (too scared to mess up). I'm going to start from this one, then add interactive pages and embellishments and go from there. I'm a tape girl myself and probably would not have the same problem as you (waiting for the glue to stick); I probably will find it easier to hold it all together too.

Hello! I absolutely love your work , good to see a fellow Brit working the scrapbooking magic , just an idea but when you stick your spine cover onto the Mdf board maybe you could use a few bulldog clips or large paper clips to hold it down?

Yes good tip, I would normal use Red Double Sided tape on that part of the book however, as a lot of my followers are newbie crafters I wanted to make the project as easy as possible. Do you have KZbin cannel?

Great Tutorial and easy to understand. I just wondering how strong must be the wet glue you used because my glue doesn´t work like your.Maybe i should try a other one. Im using Scotch tape right now but i can´t move the mat if something is going wrong or in a wrong position and thats annoy me. TFS .Hugs

***** Hello JeanI use Collall All Purpose Glue and Collall Tacky Glue I also use normal double sided tape and a Crafters Companion tape Runner.If you can by these in your craft store you can order Online from Crafters Companion on either there uk site at .co.uk or on the international site .comHope this helps?Dawn
