Gotta admit, I'm not normally big on super long content myself, but thats generally because I don't always have time to listen to them in one go and thus end up forgetting stuff talked about earlier in the video. While that's certainly possible here, there's a lot more variance in the topics that makes it so much more digestible for me, I can stop at any time and come back and the topic is fresh for new info! It's a nice feeling.

I always assumed the toad suit implied that in the mushroom kingdom they had toad mannequins (toadequins). It would make sense, seeing as this game goes out of its way to imply it's all practical effects on a stage, that Mario's costumes are literal costumes taken from backstage. The hats fit for a little toad's giant head would conveniently fit Mario's normal head.
