I was pondering and have been thinking what am I for after accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior. I know God is my heavenly Father and Jesus, the Son of God and the Holy Spirit, 3 in 1. But I don't know the purpose God has planned for me. Lately, i stopped going to church because I was uncomfortable with a big rich corporate church. I pray that God lead me to a Church that I may settled and be at peace. Amen.

I jealously hangs on to every word he speaks and then i keep some portions aside for later because i want to take my time to savour every single explanation and ponder on it. I thank God for him. I think at 17:50 a better word than "selective hearing " would be shame. We are carrying so much shame, we still can't see the truth. And it becomes a perpetual cycle of doing "wrong" and accumulating more shame. The Good news is Forgiveness ! We carry so much shame with us. Deeply understanding that we are loved and forgiven is a profound revelation that can change everything we do. When we think we are wrong or bad... we will inevitably act upon that core belief. When we know that Christ died so that we could know we are forgiven, that we are beloved children of God we will then be able to act like we ARE. We can not love others if we do not love ourselves, if we carry the belief that we are not worthy of the love and forgiveness of God. But good news ! We are so loved by him. We are forgiven. And once we can forgive and accept ourselves, truly... we will change.

You don't have to understand all women, they are not the same. Just understand the one you love. Forget what Hollywood taught you about women. Learn to listen actively and how to be a good communicator. Learn what affection is the kind of affection you would give to children I.e. non sexual. Take a course on these two and you will transform any relationship

I loved the white board explanation. That was a great job of going through Romans in a little under an hour. The thought just crossed my mind when tattoos were commented on. I wish untucked shirts were not the fas. They look sloppy and disrespectful. I realize the fad was created to hide obesity but my pot belly is still there tucked or untucked.

4:00 using the pot analogy, surely Christians agree that God can throw out the pot for any reason whatever. He made the pot. It's his. He can do what he wants with it. My struggle is why make the pot burn in eternal hell if it didn't do what he wanted it to do? This terrifies me.

Get saved! Then it won't terrify you. You either know your saved or you're not! Jesus revealed the gospel to Paul by revelation, the gospel is found in 1Co 15:1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 1Co 15:2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 1Co 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, HOW that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 1Co 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: Most new versions will remove HOW! Jesus died by bleeding to death, not by being crucified, thats method of death. Trust in WHAT Jesus did on the Cross, thats shedding his precious blood for all that will accept it and put it deep into their hearts. The moment you realize this it will go from your head to your heart. Read Romans then Galatians! Get yourself a King James Bible!

Paul is making his closing argument before Theophilus, who is the Equestrian who sits on the Judea desk of the Praetorian Guard, which is the executive strata of the administrative state of the Roman Republic. He has an identical function as John LeCarre's George Smiley in MI6, a member of the executive council of the Praetorian Guard.. Judging from Philippians, 1:13, Paul nails the landing with his closing argument. , Romans 13:1 - 7 is the 4th Gift of the Magi to Theophilus: everything else is Jewish eyewash.. Your observation in your commentary on Luke that Paul was going to Rome to assure the Romans that Christianity was no threat to the Tomans is exactly correct. The thing is, The Romans knew it before Jesus Accension at Pentecost because of the Talking Cross of the Gospel of Peter. The only pertinent part of Romans for the Romans is Romans 13:1 - 7, which validates the oath the centurions submit to the secular rule of law that creates their guild withing the Republic. The rest of it is Jewish eyewash. He is also the Bishop of the clandestine Roman Christian Fellowship of the Italian Cohort which he refers to in Hebrews 13:24. The euangelion that Pilate sends to Tiberius immediately after Resurrection goes through Theophilus (which is probably a typic name acting like the Mr. Big code name in the Great Escape. to disguise the head of the Christian cell system throughout the Legions that we can identify as the Mithra cults, which are local cells in the Jesus conspiracy) It is dangerous to be a Christian because its association with Tiberius and the execution of Sejanus. My assumption is that Jesus is crucified in 33. Titus Kennedy and Peter J. Williams have settle on this dat based on the astronomy of a lunar eclipse that a colleague of Williams has established. Roman Standard Time doesn't begin to obtain in the Christian narrative until Acts 10, when Peter and Cornelius swapped stories about Jesus. Peter's executive summary of Jesus's carreer in Acts 10:34 - 43 shapes the narrative of the Gospel of Mark that emerges from Quelle, the intelligence archive of the X Legion that began to assemble itself with the surveillance file the Romans maintained on John the Baptist that Josephus employs to create his portrait of john the Baptist in The Jewish Wars. Here's the thing I want you, Dr. Randall D. Smith, to understand; many of your observations are within a cunt hair of my own, ( such as the timing of the Gospel of John and Luke's general motivation for the preparation of Acts as an amicus brief for the defense of Paul in Rome), but the critical historic method you employ is, metaphorically speaking, like using a geocentric instrument to navigate in a heliocentric system. It' is why, in classic astrology, Mars seems to go into retrograde relative to Earth.: it's because our naïve perspective is geocentric. And that's the problem with the apologetics of the Total Depravity Gospel of the Pro-Life Fascism of the solo scriptura narrative of Evangelican Calvinism as well as the Marxist impulse of the Jesus Seminar and anti-theist criticism. When you come to understand that the Talking Cross signifies the covenant between God and the centurions of the Italian Cohort and that Hebrews is based on the triangulation of Melchizedek, Jesus and the triangulation of Romans 13:1 - 7, the faith of the centurion in Matthew 8:10 and the servant leader ethos of Mission, men, Self as an expression of the secular rule of law, your faith in the Truth of Jesus as the Son of God will become absolutely transparent to you and all you pastor.

@ctspvideos
@ctspvideos 8 жыл бұрын
+contemplate: I am hopeful the book's message of condemnation-justification-sanctification-vindication-application comes through. As background, it might help to know these presentations are cut from 850 hours of teaching through the Bible for "twenty somethings" in a full year Bible school. Sometimes I fear that if I don't illustrate profusely, I will lose them. It is my hope that the message comes through, but sometimes they are tired and I work harder to illustrate than I should. I hope that is not a detractor to the Book and its message.

Randall Smith Yes, those things came through in your preaching and those things are generalities throughout the Word. I was referring to Paul's specific arguments, specific to Romans regarding Israel... i.e., the fact that Israel was hardened so that nations would be saved to fulfill the promise to Abraham that he would become the father of many nations in a new covenant without the law and without a specific, nationally saved group of people.
