I don't understand this comparison. It does not seem like that is the Fuji camera that competes with the Zf. Maybe try the XT5?

One interesting thing I was told about the auto-ISO on the Zf is that if you are in manual mode and set the auto-ISO maximum value to 200, you can use the ISO dial to quickly increase or decrease the maximum ISO allowed. That seems like a good way to use the dial while in auto-ISO mode. Apparently, that approach does not work if you switch the PASM dial off manual. The flip screen on the Zf won't work for my street photography, but I think the camera could be a useful everyday carry for everything else. For now, I will switch between my X-T5/XF 27mm and my GFX 50S II/GF 50mm for most of my street photography. If Nikon releases a Zf type of camera with an X-T5 style screen, it would be a more viable option for me.

I have a buddy who has an X100V and Ive held it and used it for a few shots, and I’ve even held an used an x100VI from another photographer that had one at a mutual sporting event that both of us were shooting. I get it. I get the appeal for the Fuji and I loved size and I’m sure the film simulations gives the photographer all sorts of options. But the AF and full frame is far too appealing for someone like me. If I’m presented with this choice, I know me right now in life, I take the Nikon Z f every time. Right now I have the Nikon 28mm f2.8 SE, 40mm f2.0 SE and a TTArtisans 75mm f2.0 AF. Very capable setup.

Tudor, it's unfair to compare a FF vs APS-C setup into #1 place - apples vs. oranges, go figure. 2nd, you can install literally every lens with adapter via Z-mount nowadays. But Nikon failed, to provide a handful, a bag of primes for Z-mount, into AF-D design, or better AI-S lens design *with* aperture ring, ever since. Say 20/2.8, 24/F2, 35/F2, 50/F2, 85/F2 & 135/F2 or F2.8....all into that lens design. Only the manual focus NoNikkor Artralab 35/F1.4 MC or single coated lenses with AI-S/AF-D design are being made this way, native for Z-mount, not from Nikon. #2 the X100 series are always being fixed lens, unlike the Zf. You can compare the X100V/VI with the GR-III(x) series, for example.

You are ignoring the fantastic Voigtländer options. Also, comparing the X100 and Zf is more valid than comparing a X100 with a GR. The GR is pocketable, the X100 is not.

@@RegrinderAlert You're wrong, its about Sensor Size - and fixed lens vs interchangelable lens camera. Its not 1:1 compareable, of course the Zf is better - but it's not as small, as the X100VI. It's the same - comparing Trucks vs. Cars..but you don't get it, nevermind.
@RegrinderAlert2 сағат бұрын
@ Sensor size is irrelevant. Everyone is treating the X100 like a 35mm full frame equivalent - because it is 😂

My friend said that he can fit XT3 with 15-45 inside diaper bag (along with milk bottle). I think the ZF with 28mm or 40mm can also fit inside one.

Good video on small focal lengths. But you can you use longer focal lengths on the zf like 85mm and 24-120 zoom lens comfortably/.

Can’t wait to recieve my ZF to test it out…😅 I’m happy with my XT30ii for travel and street when I want to go light I have the 18f2 & 35f1.4 the X100vi is a beautiful camera but the price point turns me away you can get a ZF body for the same price or get XT5 for cheaper.

I really don't think comparing these two cameras is actually really useful. One is nearly 800 g and one weighs 500 one is full frame. One is a crop sensor. One is a fixed lens and one isn't they're just not a good comparison. They're totally different. The only thing that you have in common is retro dials. That's the only thing it's not enough to compare to cameras. I get the point of it but really just not any value in comparing these two cameras at all and look. I'm a fan of this channel Tudor. I really like your channel mate but this is a bit of a silly video to be really honest.

For you maybe, but I get this question a lot.

@@Tudor_Mateescu yeah fair enough. I can understand why you did the video!! Love your channel mate no problems. I don't get angry. I just found it a funny comparison. That's all..... here is my view. If you're looking to get into professional or paid work I would get the ZF but if you're just doing casual fun stuff I would go with the X 100Vi .....
@RJ-dv5mg15 сағат бұрын
these are the two best looking retro fashion cameras, so in that sense they are in the same category
@nevvanclarke922514 сағат бұрын
@@RJ-dv5mg yeah I get it from that perspective but one is full frame. One is crop sensor. One is 40 megapixels. One is 24. There's so many differences in these cameras. The only thing that makes them similar is retro dials. That is the only thing that is my point. They are not very similar when you really think about it..... One has a FlipOut screen and one has a tilt screen like I said they're not comparable in any way shape or form by the fact they've got a few dolls on the top. That is the only thing similar about these two cameras......THATS IT

I can't wait to see the Nikon Zf versus Fuji X pro 3 comparison. It's likely to be quite a battle with tears in the end 😢. Don’t you think so Tudor ? ☺️
