I usually post videos like these on my OTHER channel- "Streets Shall Provide", but thought I'd toss one here for the fun of it and watch it bomb! ;) Seriously though, in this clip Alex Eaves (Stay Vocal Clothing Line- Stayvocal.com ) and I came across a house clean-out where everything was being curbed, and I challenged him to pick JUST ONE ITEM (we're both resellers, scrappers, flea market fiends, and street scavengers for repurposing and profit) and to explain why? Would this item be for maximum re-sale value, for personal use, or would it be an item he could transform into something else? #streetpicking #reuse #fleamarketfinds #reselling #salvage

I have a major chair fetish. I saw a couple of good ones. Also, the real wood stuff. I'm with you on the armoire. I would hate not being able to take that beauty with me.

It was more a time and car space thing. I also undervalued its resale in my quick estimate. While it was more modern and a semi-junky one in make, it would still fetch $60 easily- perhaps even if not repainted.

Chairs- I have mixed luck with 'em- they either need too much work that isn't worth the time for me, or they take 8 months to sell and take up space......

PVC pipes? I'll have to go relook at the video. Its easy to miss things on picks though- especially when there is so much laying around

Ironically, I just saw an Iron Maiden cassette tape at an antique\thrift store yesterday, Motorhead cassettes too!!😎 Being the pack rat that I am, I would have needed a truck to haul all the great finds from this curb!!! Please tell me you took the shelf?!?! That shelf had treehouse written all over it!!! Thanks for sharing!! That was loads of fun to watch!! Stay safe!!

I didn't, but planned to go back for it. When I did it was gone, but I'm glad it at least was saved by someone. Bookshelves often take awhile to flip for $- slow sellers, and I have too many tree house shelving options and was short on car space anyway (still had a ton of stuff from a recent art sale/show in it)
