I like that I can use a jelly roll as I have a lot. Sometimes they are on sale. Great idea. Thanks.

Yes, too much trimmed off, they may need squaring occasionally, but not by that much!!

I’m surprised that you don’t have any ,inks to the pattern or the log cabin ruler. I’m sure I could go to the website, but it’s much easier to just click a link after watching the vidoe

Jelly rolls are expensive. Not sure I like this much waste. The fabric is beautiful, though.

Do you not have a ruler for a center block that is 2.5 inches? That way you can just use a jelly roll and not have to get any yardage

I would love to see a picture of the full quilt. What is the size of it please?

Why use 2 1/2 strips if you’re trimming/wasting fabric.
@gudrunborn22663 жыл бұрын
To me it seems a lot of waste!
@CreativeGridsUSA3 жыл бұрын
By using a pre-cut Jelly Roll, you have 40 width of fabric strips already cut! Simply pre-cut your logs and start sewing! (And the slight trimming actually HELPS you use the ENTIRE Jelly Roll.... which is not possible otherwise!)

How do I go about getting the Pattern? And where can I buy the log cabin rules and 2 1/2 “ rectangular ruler? I love this pattern and am anxious to try the 12” Log Cabin Trim Tool ruler.

No reason to trim - lots of waste. Cut all desired sizes with a 1/2” seam allowance.

Too much waste! Why not use the 2 1/2 "?

I like the idea of the ruler but there is so much fabric waste by doing it this way, Just my 2 cents worth.

That's what I thought! What a waste of precious fabric!

Actually, if you were to try to make this many Log Cabin blocks with the same number of rounds WITHOUT using this Log Cabin Trim Tool.... you couldn't make as many blocks from One Jelly Roll! So we are actually helping you make a larger quilt from One Jelly Roll! (And, it's super accurate!)
