An alpinebutterfly loop also works well , but quality one inch racket straps are the best and quickest ! Nice video .

So if I have a ratcheting tie down strap, I could just tie it around once , and then ratchet it? Seems like the same result. Im hauling twelve 10 ft emt pipe. I have ratchet straps and a 6 ft bed. What about the front of the truck. Pipe wont move side to side in the front?

This is s trucker’s hitch. With a little practice, they’re very easy to tie/untie. And yes, they do secure your load very well. But, If you’re using a ratchet strap, watch this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/opTRc55netuljqcsi=u8ejqr10ndb3r7dB. I’m sure your strap will work just as well. Good luck.
