Whenever I'm about driving, I'll put this soundtrack on cause it's so damn good. Missed when EA hired musicians to do the soundtracks just for them and not just purchase a bunch of popular tracks already overplayed on the radio. Out of each one, I'd probably say the two songs for the German track is my fave.

This game is what got me into game design , as a kid i would often wonder how the track generated , as you race , and the little details added in the background , Every track has a different story to tell 5 years old and i would just analyze every single map , to figure out how it worked such a great gam

Hmmm....hard to say which one is my favorite out of europe, Mexico, Greece and Nepal. I remember that the snowy track scared me in childhood....just the sound of wind was scary....but I liked it more as I grew up....I’d say my favorite is mystic peaks then. But mediteraneo and that european track are beautiful too....Proving grounds used to be my favorite as a kid because I would always win with a McLaren on it 😂...but I grew up to like the tougher tracks....this game is love 💕....I can’t find it now and I don’t think windows 10 will run it 😞....my Windows 10 doesn’t run house of the dead 3 so I can’t expect for this baby to run too.....omg, this game was the first game I ever played on my Pentium 2 pc....when I was 4 years old! T_T......the current nfs isn’t my taste. Rivals was the last one I purchased and never thought about purchasing after that...I kept purchasing until that because nfs had a lasting good impression on me and so I would just hope that I would love the game even with bad reviews...then I realised that nfs is just hopeless now......EA should actually remake these old ones (with two options for gameplay 1. 1990s graphics with physics and another for a change 2. Modern graphics with real physics). They should keep these tracks and themes of the tracks. Incorporating all of these in a free roam (or maybe making a mini map for each of these classic tracks) map would be my dream game!

I remember my brother's and sisters all gathered around the PC having turns to play this game. Today we all married and living our own lives. I am now a roads engineer so I'm watching this with the eyes of a roads engineer, having many more questions. Never knew a day would come where these games would be a distant memory. These days are gone but all we can do is pass similar memories on to our kids. Great work.

It must've been real hard to resist all those alternate paths and ramps! I'd always take the jump at the end of Last Resort, after the leaping out of the cave, on the right, and cut through the parking lot in Pacific, but I completely get why you didn't for the purpose of the video! It was night and day with and without that 3DFX card. One of my "this changes everything" moments in gaming, like the first time I saw an enemy crouch under my weapons fire at the start of Quake II and knew I'd have to learn to mouseaim. Those reflections I couldn't believe back in the day, I can hardly even notice now...
