You have to give the people who made this game credit, instead of just doing another crappy infomercial about the dangers of smoking through the use of body horror, they instead came up with a short, interesting concept in a game, that although could have probably been done better, was still interesting enough to have at least 8,000 people come look at the walkthrough.

This video is not monetized, any ads put there are from KZbin and not by me. Sorry. And there are two endings, the one above is if you cannot complete the course quick enough (3/4 aren't so lucky), and then if you are quick enough you do escape (check out my other video where I do escape).

If you choose to get all the achievements in the game, you must fail (not escape) at least once, then successfully escape (1st place) 20 times. Otherwise, you can do just one playthrough and call it quits. Its up to you. Hope that helps. @@ceasegamer

But it is a horror game. It's not supposed to have monsters and stuff. SMOKING is the horror. Did you ever listen to what the narrator said? He said that he was there once, too. He thought that he could outrun the other three. But he didn't. That's EXACTLY what happens to smokers. They think that, "Oh it's just one cigarette. I'll be fine. I can quit if I want." But they can't. 1 out of 4 smokers is able to escape being addicted. That's what this game represents.

You are aiming to complete the "race" under 8 min. If you do so, you will successfully escape. Once I learned the layout on my fourth run, I never lost again.

I think the ending could’ve been stronger if instead of telling you about cancer and tooth loss the voice over tells you to turn on the tv and you see the narrator and what he describes in graphic detail. Doing so however, would bump the rating up to an m which would keep some young teens from being able to play it.

At first when going into this game I wasn't knowing what to expect if I was like at last at first but then I played through it realizing it was actually a pretty fun game but then when I got to the end and read the message my heart change forever I never thought something like this a game that made it to the Xbox page or whatever you're playing it on could be so expiring thank you Xbox thank you for helping me get past not me but you know other people but well I'm actually impressed

@Patrick Lira I understand and respect your point of view, but, if I have to be honest, I think this game was a great idea. I guess The Real Cost figures that if people don’t listen to their commercials, they’ll pay attention with a game. And heck, they were right. People are more interested in video games than in commercials, and using video games as an anti-smoking campaign is honestly a great idea. And sure, video games like FNAF and Bendy and the Ink Machine do have interesting concepts, using fears as antagonists. But that’s basically what One Leaves is doing. Taking a seemingly innocent matter and showing it’s true colors, and being able to express it all in a video game? And while other games show horrors that can’t happen in real life, One Leaves shows that it can. That’s what makes the game so scary and attention-grabbing. It takes a real thing that not a lot of people take seriously (ahem, like animatronics and cartoons) and shows how it can really destroy you, how it can really affect you, all through a video game. EDIT: And, of course, cartoons and animatronic can’t hurt you (unless we’re in a video game cough cough.) I’m just showing how the three games compare.
