Have done the odd "out in public" but not very confident - have been happy sketching hip hop dancers via images from Pinterest and watching those proportions! Love your videos I learn so much every time cause you are so relatable what is difficult for me is hearing you as the background music is in the foreground in other words louder than you are and I really want to hear you my personal preference is no music to compete with your great demos ❤️❤️❤️

Thanks Susan! That’s great to hear the feedback on music. I have been experimenting with this actually. My next two videos only have intro and outro music but I am considering if I need it at all as I am paying extra to include it!😊👍🏼

Do you know the problem, when you start a new sketch book and want something special for the first page. I tried a one line selfportrait . It looks weird and funny but I love it. Thanks for inspiration ❤❤❤ Forgot to mention, I started to draw 6 month ago and tried one sketch a day . Today I finished my first sketchbook and started a new one.

I usually do a pencil drawing first before daring to put pen on paper but decided to give it a try as I watched you. To my happy surprise, it came out pretty good! Thanks for the inspiration. A question - what ink do you use? My fountain pen inks all dissolve and mix with the colours when I try to add watercolour on top of it. Can you recommend a fountain pen safe permanent black inK?

@@SketchingScottie I use that ink in ink cartridge form in my Kaweco Sport fountain pen as it is the only permanent/waterproof ink that I have found in the Int'l shorty cartridge form.

Thanks Maggie! I make sure I choose ink that’s water proof. I’m using De Atramentis ink in this fountain pen and let it dry before painting. I also use a uniball micro roller pen which is waterproof too.
