Thanks, excellent tutorial with great tips. I prefer drawing in with ink. Pencil gets messy. Now, regarding the nose and mouth, I don't think you quite got them. In the foto, the bottom of the nose tilts up and it seems a bit higher than the drawing. Also, in the foto, the upper lip of the mouth has an asymmetric look...a bit higher on the left. (because of the viewing angle.) In your drawing the mouth seems generalized. I like the dot idea of getting the various elements placed. Brows and eyes. Nose, etc.

I was not a big fan of watercolor because i like graffiti style more, so I normally use posca markers, but man, your artwork is so beautiful! I really like these kind of stylish loose sketch style, and the purple color shading is so beautiful!
