Thank you Lucrecer! I looked up the definition of my 2023 word, STRONG, while you were speaking and it made me cry because in part it said this… STRONG: (of a person's character) showing determination, self-control, and good judgment I’ve lost 90 pounds in 2022 and in 2023, I will be embarking on a journey of strength training to get physically strong. I also want to use OLW to celebrate how strong I am to make it to this point because of how much determination it took. Looking up the definition confirmed this is the right word for me. Thanks to all of you - loved this. Looking forward to seeing you in class!

I wasn’t going to do a word for 2023. The last time I chose a word, it was “Open” in 2020 and I felt like life just fell apart for most of us that year. 😊 Starting again felt like too much after that. But after this conversation, I’m going to try again.

This year I have never needed "JOY" more. I had a few hiccups towards the end of the year and it was hard. For 2023 l'm leaning towards nurture. I will nurture my body, mind and family. Nurture fits as my Mum is going through cancer treatment and I hope to spend some quality time with her over the holidays. I want to nurture our relationship more during this hard time.

Oh man I love this conversation. This year will be my first year of one little word and i'm so excited. The conversation has helped me so much and I can't wait to get started. You are all such great people. I've known some of you from the internet for some time, others not so far, and i'm looking forward to getting to know you. I met Felicitas personally years ago through a scrapbook shop where we both used to be in the design team (at least thats how i remeber it). I myself am from germany, and I think it's great to have someone who speaks german on this team too. I myself am also more attracted to english words and my first word for OLW will be in english. But it's great to see someone else´s german speaking approach to this project. I'm really excited and happy that I made the decision to participate in this project. Thanks to all of you!!!

I ladies! I was so tickled to find out Victoria is on your team. I follow her channel and learn so much from her commentary. I chose Consistency for my word. My Spiritualist recommended we put Evolutionary in front of our OLW. Why? Because our OLW is part of a journey - one that will evolve as we travel through the year. This was all amazing. Reclaim joy. I feel that right now. It’s what I’m struggling with right now. It’s been my attitude for Christmas. It was my December reason was to reclaim Christmas that I lost since 2022. There is something to that. I’m feeling that word is forward but asking myself is what am I doing moving me forward? But I realize after watching this I think I’m wanting to move forward so I can get back to joy and magic and all the things.
