Thanks for such a great review! My husband and I just purchased the Bessport 2 person for a few upcoming trips. It’s always nice to see a tent tested outside and not just set up in someone’s living room 😂👍 Update: we've taken it out on two trips so far, and it performed brilliantly. We had rain both trips, and this little tent held up fantastically and kept us nice and dry inside. The ventilation is great, too. Such a good option for those of us who want to get out there but don't have a huge budget to do so 🙌👍👍

Tried this tent last weekend. It's ok for the money. I didnt get wet, it withstood the rain and wind. It's not "cut" properly though, the absides are hanging a bit with no chance of straighten them with the gear that comes with the tent. This is a bit of a downer. Still ok for the price.

I like the inside height and two sided porches. Looks like it would be alright in bad weather - do you think there’s enough guying for strong winds? The price is very good! I’m 6’ 4” so probably a tight fit for me...but that’s true for most lightweight tents! Look forward to seeing how you get on with it. Good review. Thanks. 👍

Whenever would happen, do you think 2 small adults could fit in this 1P tent. On amazon bessport writes 1P tent inner size is 100 cm wide. I can't really decide as I'd mostly use the tent (alone) just to sleep one night or two and not really for lounging inside it. Thanks for the review!

@CampLifeBushcraft4 жыл бұрын
Thanks, it has done ok.. the worst weather I camped in was on Dartmoor in heavy rain and high wind.. it stood up to the wind no problem.. however putting it up in the rain was an issue as the interior got wet, fortunately I had a micro towel to dry it off with.. this for me is its biggest fault.

Too heavy also inner pitch first which is crap in rain but wait , hold up ! £65 for the whole kit ! Suddenly that's not too bad! May even order one for the boys. Nice simple review , good job!! , can you please take it up a mountain on a windy day 😘 I will come along and have the force ten as back up 😂
@CampLifeBushcraft5 жыл бұрын
Inner pitching first is a downside, but I’m seeing the summer benefits of sleeping in just the inner. And the clips make getting the rain fly on very quick. That being said it’s a budget job so will never be perfect .. I will take it on Dartmoor with you if you bring something I can fit in to in an emergency 🤔😘
@WildCamper4 жыл бұрын

@adrianquinn54733 жыл бұрын
If you pitch the ultra lightweight set-up with footprint and outer, can you then hang / use the inner once pitched? Just wondering if it’s a way round the inner first pitching for wet weather?
@albeklik80555 жыл бұрын
I got a question what happens if it is raining that you want to set your tent up so you going to be soaking wet inside you can't sleep in there
@CampLifeBushcraft5 жыл бұрын
It’s a good question. I’ve had tent similar in the past and rain can be a problem. I think the only saving grace with this one is the speed you can pitch it. The clips make it very fast.
