One medical student's journey to the white coat

WashU Medicine students begin their journey to becoming doctors with the White Coat Ceremony. First-year medical student Nicholas Speller's path to this momentous day began in childhood and was ignited by his mother's guidance. Speller and other members of the entering Class of 2023 received their white coats in a ceremony on Friday, Oct. 27, on the Medical Campus.
