Hi Ian.Great pictures thanks for the information on your kinked foils. I have actually placed some tubes 2cm forward of the existing tubes vertically placed so will make some kinked foils for them and have some fun trying them out.Also have managed to insert two tubes in the main hull for trying a fin on very light days and wondered if you could advise me on the depth you would consider it should be.Have now got 5 suits of sails to play with so hope to be out sailing in all weathers.regardsRay

Hello Ian I have followed your progress with interest as you have developed foiling tris. This one seems very stable. Are the foils set or self adjusting?

+precisionforex Hello there - the foils are only adjustable by screw adjuster when on the shore. They do not adjust whilst sailing. We have experimented with wand-controlled foils but find that the moving components are simply too complex and fragile to be worth pursuing further. Rgds
