It’s an excellent fantasy film. Smooth direction by Chaffey, beautiful photography by Wilkie Cooper, and a lush score by Mario Nascimbene. I agree. It’s pure and simple entertainment 👍🏻

Haven't seen this one probably since the 90's I think. WLBZ Bangor seemed to show movies of this ilk or others with Harryhausen's critters every other Sunday afternoon in the 80's. I was endlessly fascinated by stop-motion dinosaurs and monsters.

"The Lost Continent" and "When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth" are a few other of this style movie that Hamme did. I think there's even a few more too. I think I prefer their horror movies tbh.
