A variation I made on that riff also makes for a nice little turnaround.

I love this like and can play it slowly pretty well. The problem is my lip keep drying up as I slide up and down the harp, which stops me in my tracks. Thanks.

cool! try drinking lots of water when you're playing- it sometimes helps to keep lips hydrated . good luck :)

His accent Sounds like he is from England? This guy knows harp…. Definitely worthwhile instruction because he has in-depth knowledge and explains it well.

Hi Ed ,love your videos. As a beginner I'm having trouble breathing with this one...where do you release or inhale
@TheHarmonicaBarge11 ай бұрын
Thanks! Filling up with air is a problem on these grooves. Sometimes it can be more psychological. Try and be really conscious on the out-breaths that you are expelling air allowing you to not fill up. Try and play it for 20 secs then build up. You get used to taking in more air then you breathe out but it takes a while. You can also try substituting single notes out for chords in the blow notes. Be sure to check out my newer hobo series lesson on this tune too :)
