TheMetallicBlur Nah. A Chain Chomp is likely City+ level for not being able to be harmed by Mario or Luigi in most games, who both have multiple City level calculations. Eggman's army at best would be City+ level but even that's pushing it given most of his bots after the City level base form feat in Generations are easily defeated.

Depends. Both armies have their good, and their very ugly troops. Just look at the motobugs and goombas. Bowser army has monsters that are litteraly invincible, but eggman has some of the best robots possible, with the likes of metal sonic.

This is actually a Melee I legitimately enjoyed. I didn't even care who won at the end. *This* is how you're supposed to do a fight scene. This like commemorates Bowser and Eggman, as they should be since they're big icons of their respective franchises. This fight gives them both the respect they deserve and an absolutely *awesome* fight to remember. I only wished you guys can handle all the other Melees with as much care as you did here. I figured this would be the result. Eggman's genius IQ is Betrayed by lack of enemy analysis. If he had analyzed just how physically strong bowser was, he wouldn't have gone with the mech type, instead opting for a hovercraft type. even then, bowser is almost as immortal as deadpool, most attacks are ineffective, and only really serve to tick him off. Even then, eggman's a yolk, Bowser's a chunk of steel. Bowser's actually a genius too, his temper just has hyper-priority.

shadow98004 Bowser Jr. is a shitload of a char in MY opinion. Especially his skins are just the other Koopalings what makes me ask: why are they trying to get in the fcking Koopalings nobody cared about? Eggman would be a much better char due to his Mechs and his Ultra-Smash could be an outrage of Perfect Metal Sonic. Nintendo had so many great Characters to choose from. And who do they choose? Bowser Jr., Duck Hunt and Pacman. Though i like at least Pacman's entrance theme. They should have get in Zero, Pheonix Wright or someone from Bravely Default (that's kinda the individual preference i think but hey, they could have let Ringabel or Tiz join, Ultra-Smash could be Bravely Second with a Special Attack that doesnt do that much damage BUT buffes the Char whilst playing "Love's Vagrant" or "That Person's Name Is".

Bowser ky survived a black holes due to the many inconsistencies in the Mario universe, meanwhile eggman is out here making black holes with his own weapons. Eggman also controls gods in almost every game (that he has to fight on his side) and eggman has also survived getting stuck at the end of time, falling from dangerous heights every game, the end of the world (Sonic 06) etc. And eggman's mech are way stronger than Bowser ever was, and I highly doubt Mario is over here breaking through metal easily. Eggman fights a god tier hedgehog on a daily basis who's able to smash through an army's without a sweat, eggman has legit captured Sonic before and has made plans that defeat him(Sonic adventure 2) Eggman has tons of other feats and he also *ALWAYS* has a backup metal sonic

As much as I love the Doc, Bowser is a beast and actually has physical combat experience. And Eggman's machines have lost Sonic, a lightweight hedgehog with more speed and momentum over pure strength until he goes super. And Bowser is a powerhouse and VERY tenacious.

This reminds me of one of my favourite things about Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. Bowser didn't need some special weapon, or mcguffin or something to defeat the final boss... he just kept going, and wouldn't be stopped, and eventually proved himself to be the strongest.

It's never been stated as canon, meanwhile metal sonic is actually moving at speeds that rivals sonic. If bowser was actually light speed then mario would be finished easily. Bowser and Eggman teaming up, only for robotnik to betray king koopa in order to build Eggman land shows just how cunning he is, and shows just how far they both would go to defeat their nemeses. I also like how Eggman introduces his mech with its full name, and then says it’s for him only. That really fits his egotistical nature.

Imo mario and sonic counter eachother pretty well, fire flower to fire shield, power star to chaos emerald, frog suit to bubble shield, but theres no denying sonic is pretty weak in defense and power, but with nearly unmatchable speed, while mario is quickfooted and durable and powerful, and both dont fight with long term strategy in mind. I think mario would win because he seems to have a much larger arsenal of power ups that he has redily available, and just seems more durable and able to take way more hits
