@@phanton4305 They say at the beggining of the video than is fight is not canon to SMBZ so yes, mecha sonic is fighting shadow in the desert like you said. Also sonic and Yoshi have been turn into stones by Basilix, and you can (barrely but still) see them when Mario and Luigi escape the Omega Doomship with Peach.

Bit late but Bowser is based on the chinese dragon turtle a creature of immense luck, wealth, and the most durable of all dragons. Meaning Bowser is a monstrous tank of epic proportions he is merely slow so overpowering the defenses of such a creature regardless of who you are isnt feasible. Mario doesnt actually beat bowser he outmaneuvered him and either destroys the flooring under him or throws him far enough to get away. The only way Bowser would have lost is if MechaSonic had thrown him a great distance even then Bowser has luck on his side and he is rather intelligent as well.

I find it weird how bowser won because this is THE SMBZ MECHA SONIC NOT THE SONIC 3 ONE Edit: well, here we are 3 years later and a lot smarter than a 13 year old yeah I was ticked for what ever reason and decided to take it out on fictional battles which is dumb by the way honestly if there is one thing I have learned it is that these fights don't really matter all that much. because even if the battle was decided with "facts" and "research" (looking at you wally vs archie) it really does not matter and shouldn't make me lose sleep at night also bowser easy claps lol

Zekromtrainer12 Yeah, What Mecha Sonic didn’t understand was that he had to be fast Bowser maybe slow, but if you’re slow in a fight with him, then you’ve literally the smallest chance of beating him. Mecha Sonic delivered that beginning punch too slow; he destroyed that land, punched the rocks towards Bowser and JUST WAITED. When preparing that finishing attack, Bowser managed to get his strikers glove, because Mecha Sonic was being too slow!! Also, Bowser is basically indestructible, so Mecha Sonic needed to deliver a lot more blows than he already did.

@@PhoenixMario Yeah, really the reason Mario keeps beating Bowser is that he has both speed and strength, which is shown in SMBZ. Sure, his strength alone wouldn't help, but combined with his speed to dodge and weave around Bowser, Mario almost dismantles him entirely.

Local Stop Sign Yeah and in the actual franchise, something else is assisting Mario in beating Bowser. It’s “The Gentle Pull”, which was mentioned in the ending of Mario Galaxy 2 by Rosalina. Basically, it’s the God of the Mario Franchise and it can change fate. Therefore, it changes the fate between Mario and Bowser, as a random person, who knows nothing about the Mario Franchise, would expect Bowser to prevail.

As the above states, he was beat wit his own attack but I will also add that SMBZ Mecha Sonic has never fought anyone who could actually stand up to it's attacks. It was always something reliant on speed, nimble footwork, or wit that it went up against and always Curbstomped as the armor and combat capabilities would overwhelm such opponents. Now BOWSER on the other hand is an obscenely tough tank. He could take the hits and dish it out respectably enough and contrary to popular belief, he is not a dumbass.

Never underestimate the might of a pissed off parent. Just look at the animal kingdom….many predators have met their end at the claws, jaws, tusks and horns of a mother or father protecting their kid. And as someone who’s overweight arse was saved from falling through a broken flooorboard and hoisted to safety by their mom, I think it’s safe to say that there was no other way this fight could’ve ended. Bowser was running off a combination of adrenaline and pure fury: an unbeatable mix.

naaah Bowser was just smart the thing with Mecha Sonic yes he is fast and strong but he attacks wildly while Bowser outsmarted Mecha by using his own power against him by merely throwing Mecha Sonic's blast back at him. Bowser got one advantage that is his absurd durability and the fact he can be smart when facing a battle if only he didn't install suicidal things on the battlefield like bombs and switches
