(I know this is a no research fight but Sonic fans think knuckles is a sure win in half these posts) WARIO: Wario can run on water. Wario can invent and build an inter-dimensional travel device called the Telmet in a matter of minutes Wario can recover from necromantic effects that are usually permanent, by exposing himself to common things. He has cured himself of being a zombie with light, and has reversed being a vampire by touching water. He walked away from a plane crash like it was nothing. Has demonstrated toon-style immunity to some forms of death, such as being crushed, burned, frozen and electrocuted. All of these states have been known to depower and kill Mario. Can release a ground pound that can shake the earth. Create a clone army of himself. Can pilot an attack submarine, is a skilled motor-cyclist, operate a mecha, can pilot a fighter jet. Charge through metal. Regenerate from ashes. Broke the fourth wall to hypnotize potential players of his games into helping him collect treasure. Wario can lift things MANY times his own size. This was a cool fight, and I can honestly look past the results. The problem I have is with how Wario is portrayed, Mali, you do know Wario has a LOT more going for him then farts and shoulder charges right? +GameonKID Knuckles can't beat wario, wario is strong enough for fight knuckles wich have more brute force, but he is really predictable compared to wario and have less experience. Knuckles can't be fast and strong at the same time, so wario can take advantage of this and turn the fight in his favor, he have more attacks than knuckles and more ability and is more durable. Their super form counter each other so there isn't need to powers up in this battle.

Whoever wrote the one minute melees probably used the lack of research as an excuse for the character that should easily win, lose. Anyone who looks at the research for these characters in their respective Death Battles (DK vs Knuckles and Wario vs Dedede) should know that Wario is stronger and tougher than Knuckles.

He only has his garlic as a support, and even then his WarioMan mode is nothing compared to HyperKnucles, who while he's is a slower but stronger version of Sonic (like Wario to Mario), he's as agile and versatile as Sonic.

dude im not the one making the rules. besides wario can't even die in most wario land games, and hyper knuckles doesn't even technically exist. only super sonic and super shadow. in game effects are the same as hyper sonic so there is no reason to expect they are different. thats like saying eggman's robot is immune to hyper sonic therefor eggman should have beat bowser easily. just enjoy the show.

+Doctor Doom Well that's the point of One Minute Melee. People want to see what happens when characters fight without having them be researched. I rooted for Wario , but knew this would've been the end result. Even if Wario and Knuckles were fully researched, it's most likely that Knuckles would've still came out on top. Knowing Death Battle rules they would've excluded the use of super forms/transformations because they counter each other with nether side budging. Knuckles had the better fighting experience, speed, and power to counter whatever Wario had to throw at him.

Other OMM ideas: 1: Aang vs Korra (battle of the Avatars) 2: Garnet (Steven Universe) vs Baron Ashura (Mazinger franchise) (these four took "till death do us part" a tad literally; both super strong aliens if you use _Shin Mazinger_ version of Ashura) 3: Satsuki Kiryuin (Kill la Kill) vs Kuvira (LoK) (sexy faschists with severe mommy issues) DB ideas: 1: Gurren Lagann vs Getter Robo (evolution-powered robots with galactic-scaled versions) 2: Korra vs Captain Planet (like Aang vs Korra, but with less awkwardness of someone killing themselves; Korra chosen over Aang since she's better at energy bending, which I feel would be necessary) 3: Jetstream Sam (MGR:R) vs Adam Taurus (RWBY) (same weapons; admittedly you might need to wait a while before you can use Adam, since we've only seen him fight once so far) 4: Alucard (Hellsing) vs someone (most common choice being Dante, but Dio Brando sounds interesting too) (I just want to see TFS's Alucard in a Death Battle) Either: 1: original Gundam vs Nanoha Takamachi ("White Devil" title bout) 2: God Gundam vs Guren Seiten (FIERY FACE PALMS OF DOOM!) Lawrentus Both rouge would take his powers and add the to her own. Making infinite+1=infinite. That is why it would be an impossible fight to determined. They don't seem to make big variations (like Wario-Man), but they are good at making new animations based around sprites that are actually made. If you haven't seen the Scrooge McDuck VS Shovel Knight Death Battle, I would reccomend it. It's a good example of whatthey can do with limited sprite resources.
