When my son was 10 weeks old, his heart stopped in the middle of the night, and the drs didn’t think he was going to make it. I remember singing to him in the hospital “you are my sunshine” and whenever I’d get to the lyric “please don’t take my sunshine away” i would burst out sobbing. Now it’s his (and my) favorite song we sing it all the time. He’s 5 now and about to start kindergarten 😍🤗

Color vision begins to develop within a week after birth and by 6 months your baby can see every color you can. Your eyes contain 7 million cones which help you see color and detail.

Jess Zukowski have him check their hearing. Did he talk on top of the sign? If so this behavior has zero to do with the signing. Babies brains are able to learn multiple languages. The kids are just delayed developmentally and the best thing they canhave is a way to communicate to others when they are nonverbal.

It is so refreshing to hear from a mom that is enjoying her baby. Usually all you hear is negative stuff & tears. I was the same way with my baby. Loved having a tiny baby that cried, pooped, wanted constant eating, etc. It was like having a little cartoon person. In my mind I knew that it would be only for a short while. Now my son is 25 & I still remember those days fondly.

My son did the pee everywhere thing as well. Game changing advice I got, wipe warmers! Put one diaper under his already diapered booty (open/ready to go), open the top of the soiled diaper for a second or two (cold air triggers pee) & then close it again. Do this once or twice, or until he goes. You may want to set a warm wipe on his belly before removal, so that will trigger it as well. The diaper underneath makes changing him super quick. Hope that helps. Thanks for sharing him & your experiences, what a precious doll!

My mom stayed with me the first 5 weeks of my daughter's life. My daughter's father was amazing as well. It is important to have a great support system surrounding you. Can you even imagine not having that support system? Every day you will learning something new. And, you will pass that on to Flynn.
