Weekly meal plan and preparing vegetarian Indian meals for a week, using staples from pantry, few ready made store brought products and pre prepped groceries stored in fridge and freezer.

Hello Dipty❤ I have a question that since when have u been on a keto diet and why did you decide to start it? Are there any cons in being in a keto diet? Please share your views and your journey till now regarding keto diet. Thank you❤

Hi Bea 👋 that’s a great question and will need a separate video of its own! Ive been eating keto for 6+ years.. started mostly because I wanted to move away from sugar.. one thing lead to another and from eating just keto deserts, I starts eating full keto meals! Significant improvement in health, but I’m not 100% keto, about 70-80% of the times I eat keto style. I do fall off wagon especially around Indian holiday when it’s hard to say no to mithai, but then jump back to my way of eating..

I use Himalayan Kesar facewash in morning, then Olay moisturizer and Bare Minerals compact/pressed powder and Bare Minerals lipstick.. Nightime I use CeraVe cleanser and use ROC nightime moisturizer. In winters I use Aveeno body moisturizer and in summers bath & Body light cream body moisturizer. HTH

I didn’t add onions.. I usually don’t add onions to lauki.. tadka has mustard seeds, hung, finely chopped green chilies and cilantro stems and turmeric.. then I added garlic powder (because I forgot added prepped garlic during tadka) and lastly crushed Kasuri methi.. and salt and sugar. 😊

How to freeze lauki?

Hi Amin.. peel skin of lauki, cut it open, remove seeds and soft portion, cut it into bite size pieces, place them in single layer )don’t overcrowd) in a tray/plate, freeze for 30-45 minutes, remove from freezer, transfer to freezer safe bag/container and freeze for 4- 6 weeks. If freezing in freezer safe bag, remove any air creating vacuum like pack! I’m from Mumbai Maharashtra and I came here for my PhD… I’m a research Scientists by training worked in Pharmaceutical R&D, became a stay at home mom and now do I do variety/multiple things.. I love variety and change!
