Saving a lot of valuable money by avoiding continuously having elections in various states all through the tenure of the central government. This change can eliminate the enormous cost of election and bring in more stability to our democracy. Better late than never. Well done.

Not possible,it will go straight to jpc then dustbin,citizens won't agree small eg so many different cultures,festival,state holidays even a date to find is difficult one will agree another will disagree,one have a religious festivals holiday one doesn't have would agree,this will hamper the voting system the right to vote also.
