Her mom was a talented basketball player "back in the day" but didn't have the opportunities that Abby has been provided, and when the Menlo Park, Calif., native steps on the field this summer at the World Cup, she'll have her mom with her as she gets the chance to fulfill her athletic dreams.

Boy, it sure would be cool if you actually paid these amazing world champion athletes enough that she could afford tickets and her mom could watch her walk on to the pitch, wouldn't it? Donavan has gone to World Cups where he hasn't been playing, and brought his parents. Never got past the round of 16. US Soccer, PAY THE WOMEN'S TEAM WHAT THEY'RE WORTH. Or at least what the men make.

It's a very complicated issue that most people know very little about. It sounds like a wonderful idea so they agree and chant equal pay.

They are deserve it, they won the word cup while the men’s team didn’t even qualify. Also the women’s team brings in more revenue then the men’s team
