The only way that they can perfect this version is by making it a 30 minute long version 8 minutes is way too short for this funky beat but that's jmo

Wow, well done bro! 💯👊🏽 Quick question... about 15 years ago, I came across a rare extended edit of Flashlight with a guitar solo. It wasn't a live performance. It was the studio version, edited and extended with a 5 minute guitar solo half way through. You ever heard of that version? I've searched the inter web high and low, and can't find it out there anywhere. If you can get your hands on a copy of that and post it, my brother you will be elevated to DJ God status! 💯

This extended version got the rare airplay. Question is: did become available based on and after the success and guitar break featured on ( Not Just) Knee Deep ?🤔🤔
@mothershiphip2 жыл бұрын
The opposite is how it happened. The 'A' side of the 12 inch "disco" version was a hit. (It can be noted that the 12 inch version had the synth bass track emphasized where as the album version did not have the bass synth track emphasized; this feature and the lead guitar solo helped the 12 inch version become extremely popular in clubs and on the airwaves.) On the heels of the success of the One Nation 12 inch version a long version of Knee Deep was produced. The next Funkadelic album (Uncle Jam Wants You) included the full length version of Knee Deep. Funk Gets Stronger!
