University is the Best Hospital in Bmore. The docs and nurses took great care of me and my premature baby. I commend the staff in shock trama and I pray not only for the victims and their families, but for the doctors and nurses mental health and dealing with death day in day out. Lastly its heart warming yet heart breaking that they have to constantly pray over these ppl after death. Prayers for my Hometown

People are absolutely clueless about the pathology around gun violence in black American families. Slaves weren't killing each other. In the 100 years after slavery, the descendants of US slaves weren't killing each other. Black marital rates were higher than the majority and divorce was lower. Suddenly something changed, but US never addressed the change. I consult governments and businesses through workshops on this issue

Liability insurance for one. Criminal liability for gun owners whose guns have been used in a crime, but don't have a justifiable reason for the gun leaving their control would be another.
@bobroberts23712 жыл бұрын
@@Drpermer How does punishing the person that did not pull the trigger reduce gun crime? There are already laws against a gun owner selling / providing a gun to a prohibited person. What conditions would you consider unjustified reasons for the gun leaving the possession of the owner?
@Drpermer2 жыл бұрын
@@bobroberts2371 Are there universal background checks, not nationally anyway. A most common sense regulation that 90% of Americans support, but is held up by 10%.

@@Drpermer The " commonsense laws " are thrown around a lot without specifics on what they are. Background checks go through the national FBI NICS system. If you are going to bring up the supposed " show loophole ", that isn't valid. While a few states don't explicitly have requirements that a background check is required in a private sale, laws exist that the seller can't sell / provide arms to a prohibited person. If they do sell to a prohibited person, there are legal penalties with enhancements of the item is used in a crime.

I understand that they allowed individuals to own guns to maintain security in the less populated countryside, but I wonder why cities have relatively good police infrastructure so people can hold guns. I can't imagine being able to move without a gun in a densely populated area.
@adriannarobeson4758 Жыл бұрын
The majority of these cities are Democratic like Baltimore have the strictest gun laws in the United States so strict that it volatile's the Constitution of America the Second amendment and it does nothing to stop violent crime and literally criminals have a much easier access to firearms than law-abiding citizens why🤔 because law-abiding citizens like in Maryland half to go through a background check, fingerprints classroom time so they can get a HQL card ( Handgun qualification license) that recently the Supreme Court knocked down because it volatile's the Second Amendment rights, and this is why criminals have a much easier access to firearms because they don't obey laws especially when they are repeated violent offenders not being prosecuted and are allowed back on the streets they know they can get away with anything, they also know they have more rights than law-abiding citizens,, something is seriously wrong and it has caused a lot a damage and these corrupt politicians need to be held accountable for this .

I grew up in Manchester in the UK, my city of birth has a similar population to Baltimore, and we had 6 homicides in the city 2021 that were caused by gun violence. Even in our worst years back in the late 90s, when the gun homicides were triple what it is now it still would be far more peaceful that Baltimore in any given year. There are now too many illegal guns on the street, and there isn't much we can do about that issue now except protect ourselves and our family any way we can if we have to.
@adriannarobeson4758 Жыл бұрын
Sadly Baltimore being in the state of Maryland has one of the strictest gun laws in the country that it literally volatile's the Constitution of the United States 🇺🇸 of America just recently the Supreme Court the highest court in the Nation shot down the Handgun qualification license ( HQL cards) because it volatile's the Second Amendment rights that all law-abiding citizens are required to have along with fingerprints classroom time and along with a 7 day waiting time before you can take your handgun home , criminals in these strict gun law high violent crime areas literally have easier access to firearms because for one criminals don't care about laws especially when repeated violent offenders are not being prosecuted and are allowed back out on the streets having more rights than law-abiding citizens, these gun grabbing politicians mainly the Democrats are very soft on violent crime and literally side with violent offenders and totally against law enforcement that just want to do there job but instead are told to stand down or you will have a law suit America 🇺🇸 has literally turned in to a Banana Republic third World and it's infuriating and it has to change.

The child doesn't make guns, society won't loan that child $1 billion but they won't pushback on him/her getting all kinds of guns. We can't get money but we can surely get guns, HOW IS THAT SMART?? I'm going to do a documentary on the following: how guns are made, where are the guns shipped to, how guns are bought, who buys the guns and how are guns traced/not traced. This has nothing to do with parenting, it has everything to do with a society that hates each other and allows this madness to continue nonstop. People hate me because I'm black, they want me dead, they love when black people are killed. We are going to deal with these problems, gun violence is making a whole lot of people a whole lot of money 🤑🤑. I'm going to get a whole lot of money by speaking out clearly about the stupidity behind every argument for not better regulating guns. Because you (xevious2501) gave the standard, weak solution to stopping gun violence I can spend the next year working on a documentary to explain gun violence, THANK YOU. Now I gotta get to work!

Any chance you can ask the demographic committing the shootings to give up their guns since they are the ones committing the crimes?
