I took my son to MBS for his 17th birthday for 3 nights. We were waiting in line to check in. An employee came up and asked if we wanted VIP check in. He took us around a corner were we were given a room up near the top with its own elevator to those floors. Best hotel ever.

Singaporean here. You should take the MRT(tube) to see the suburbs. North-south line zips by many housing estates. Get down and explore our town centers. You'll be pleasantly surprised.

the light show at Gardens by the Bay is amazing but really requires you to be present by the supertrees in order to gain the best fully-immersive experience. the visuals and audio are targeted towards the areas under the trees which makes everything 100 times better.

Yes we always watched it near the supertree! Honestly it was one of the best things to do in Singapore and what a bonus it’s completely free 😊

There is a hot pool, sauna and steam room at the gym locker room which is something nice too and not busy. I have been staycation at the MBS for like 6-7 times and I asked for the garden view most of the time. Glad you both enjoyed the stay :)

Hi Nick, so everything in the room and mini fridge is completely free and yes they top this up everyday for you. If it’s not which I highly doubt they will miss this whilst cleaning your room just call reception and they will send someone up for you asap! The hospitality is incredible 😊

*HIGHLY IMPORTANT* they should emphasize this very important dress code in the marina bay sands (the sky lounge area / bar & resto) men should *never ever* wear slippers or sandals (no matter how expensive, dazzling it is) it's a big NO-NO they won't be allowed to enter, actually for women, they're allowed to wear sandals that's the silent dress code that men ought to know, whether local or foreign tourist
