16:16 Joey winrate over 80 games is impressive. Poggers. I don't think the best players in our group are 60%+ That 50% winrate is like gravity. It pulls you down.

I think being more than honest would mean giving excess information, if we assume that being 100% honest meaning that you say exactly as much as honesty demands, nothing more nothing less. of course, to remain an increase from honesty, and not fall back down to below 100% honesty, all the excessive information has to still be true AND not placed in any manner where it might distract from any more important messages. like, if you detail every single episode of your favourite sitcom and only drop in that you killed someone somewhere in the middle, where most people aren't likely to catch it, that's rather dishonest. admitting to the murder and then proceeding to run down the record of this show you love as you are being taken in, that's 500% honesty. I think.

Good example of when holding info too long can actually lose the game for your team. (Either of the two in this case.) Sadly, it probably wouldn't have been very believable either way since Brett would be announcing he swapped himself after he's incriminated. Either way, there was less than a minute to convince town to circle vote or kill Katie. I don't think there's a "right way" to play the game and it's hard to know what a good call would be when you're actually a player and you have to figure out who's bluffing. To prove my point there's no "right play" (ignoring bluffing): In this case, would a circle vote have been smartest? The center when Katie Drunked was two Werewolves and a Tanner. Statistically speaking, you vote to kill Katie if everyone gives their honest info. The right move is to kill Katie, but it's also the wrong move in practice. (Reminds me of BotC players saying the "right" meta, which is exponentially worse, but that's a whole 'nother discussion.) Also, you might think it's bad that the wolves are in the middle, but there is still Witch and Drunk to bring them in and I do think trying to convince a circle vote can be one of the more exciting parts of ONUW. You have to either trust everyone or figure out how to outsmart evil and sneak in a circle vote. Another point against Alpha Wolf making a regular appearance: if you always expect a wolf in play then it just becomes part of your meta and takes something away from the game. It's fun to do Wolfapalooza from time to time but if you remove the intrigue of circle voting, it's just removing a fun aspect of the game. That's my ONUW ramble for today. Haha.

It's that awkwardness of not wanting to say everything too quickly and making the round too short/not much fun and getting the timing right for mind games. I will continue to hope for the tanner to win (one day!).

@@Anyanca093 It's a tough choice. Do you hold your info for the big reveal at the end and hope everyone listens? Do you drop the bombshell early and hope it doesn't backfire? Do you lie then tell the truth when info is out and hope they trust you're not lying a second time? I often go for truth and I either blurt it immediately and hope or I hold it and drop it about halfway through the day (or panic at the 1 minute warning because time flew). I do, however, so nobody metas me, tell lies at the start of the game from time to time. Tanner wins are always what I root for because they're such an underdog role. Nobody wants to be it but the wins as Tanner are so satisfying. I remember one time I BARELY got in a Tanner win in a 7 player game and it was so hilarious because I robbed the Tanner from someone and I put just enough shade on myself to get enough votes (somehow didn't get shrugged off as a Tanner). It was so satisfying flipping over my Tanner card. Sorry, Vampires that were celebrating.

The first story from Brett almost every game is a lie. Sometimes he will change to the truth with a few seconds left, but often he lets his lie stand. This will (very slowly) impact his stats and extremely often causes others to incorrectly vote. I admit it though, I’m entertained by the lie.
