Well done on emphasising the Leave No Trace principles it’s really important. A couple of things to consider, I personally think pack covers are a bit of a waste of time, rain will soak your pack when it runs down your back and if you have a dry bag liner, and everything that’s inside that is in its own dry bag the rain cover is pointless. Foil blankets are ok for marathon runners but they aren’t much use on the hill; they don’t cover much, and they will tear and blow away in high winds and will retain very little heat. The old orange plastic survival bags are arguably a better option if weight space is an issue. Next time you are in heavy wind and rain try using a foil sheet, even better simulate an unconscious casualty and see how long it lasts. A far better option is a blizzard bag especially if you aren’t carrying a tent and sleeping bag.

Just a heads up, if it is a locking blade the knife isn't UK legal. Camping isn't classed as a reason to have a knife. Risk is minimal but if you were searched it would depend on the police office if you were charged.

Great video. I really enjoy seeing the different kit different folk take. No pack is ever the same! In our survival kits, we call those "lighting sticks", matchless fire sets, or flint and steel. Great tip on the earplugs too! Also, noticed you're not a walking/trekking pole guy, is that intentional? Many other videos I've watched people swear by them. Keep up the great work!
