one of the many distinct talents of Regine is having a voice that can act. if you just listen to this performance without watching, you can definitely tell that her voice is acting out. kind of like in broadway or musical. pero hindi OA kasi sa musical they physically act din bukod sa pagkanta. to the point na pati mukha mo kailangan umaarte with gestures. as for Regine, its just her voice. her movements, subtle gestures and pa emote emote (na alam natin na charut lang nya) only complement the interpretation. but the emotion is really embedded on her vocal interpretation. di na nya kailangan magpapadyak or lamukos ng mukha or even struggle effect. Ganun ka-colorful ang boses nya. hindi monotone (ehem). you can tell from this performance how colorful her voice is. she started singing in a harana-ish way for You Were There. then despite mingling with the audience and cracking some jokes, her interpretation for I'll Never Love This Way remains emotional. Then with the Fallin', its kind of upbeat (R2k album version). Then she ended a longing & emo kind of singing for The Long and Winding Road.
