Almost over you at around 19:××, wow. Wala na. Tapos na ang laban. This was 2005, and this is the voice na hinahanap ko, na medyo hirap sya i sustain ngayon, but that is very understandable. She's also human na nababawasan ang kapal ng boses as we aged. Pero walang makaka abot ng ganyang boses kahit sa generation ngayon. As in wala. Sa mga loyal fans nya, hindi na ang boses nya ang hinahanap natin kay regine ngayon, kung hindi ang makasama at suportahan sya. I remember nong silver concert nya, kung saan nawala ang boses nya,sabi ni vice ganda "regine, hindi naman kami nagpunta dito para marinig ka kumanta ng matataas na tono. Nagpunta kami dito para makasama ka uli". So, ating mga fans nya, wala sa atin kung may mga times na hindi nya maabot ang tone minsan o kung may acid reflux sya. Kapag nanonood tayo ng concert nya, andun tayo para suportahan ang ating idol. That's it. Pero kapag nasa kondisyon siya at may pahinga, kaya pa rin naman. She's not only a good singer but also a good soul that God used as an instrument

The Long line sustains with split second breathing spaces are her specialties. One of the most memorable concert niya na napanood ko ng live. Share ko lang. Kaka-break lang namin ng jowa ko, tapos nakita ko siya sa concert na to kasama ang bago niyang jowa na dinedeny pa nila that time kasi parang ilang linggo palang kaming naghihiwalay. Nakaupo sila 5 rows in front of us. Hahaha. Sobrang sakit tuloy ng Break It to Me Gently rendition niya dito. Buong concert yata umiiyak ako at sa kanila lang halos nakatingin. 🤣🤣🤣 after 7 years nagkabalikan kami, and now we're engaged. 👍💃❤

Her real name is not Chona, it's only her nickname. I believe it's Regina Encarnacion Velasquez. She entered contest after contest using Chona Velasquez as her name during her younger days. It was Martin Nievera who said to use her real name Regina but became Regine because nobody else has that name yet. Which is true. Thus calling her Regine Velasquez at Penthouse live i think. It was in the interview. Bug it was really Pops Fernandez who discovered her, she said so in a Vice Ganda interview.
