That's a super cool trick. At first, when you wave your hand over it, I thought you were using a magnet to steal away the bill. But when everything just dropped out of the clip into your hand, I saw that theory was wrong. Since I have a lot of binder clips, and a lot of rubber bands, this can actually look like a quick reset, with a bunch of prepared binder clips in my pocket. Great job, my man.

If you use a couple magnets for the rubber band then you can turn the clip all the way around and it looks clean, as in a front roll not a record player turn that is.

You could use this as a folded card prediction - left in full view of the audience. Have a card signed, returned, and perform the Mercury card-fold. Show the card has vanished from the deck and do something like a shuttle-pass, switching the clipped card for the signed one.
