One of the things I have been looking for in an information video about Grand Cayman or any other vacation destination is the water quality and daily temperatures. You have some of the most informative videos, but if I could kindly make a recommendation to include finer details like drinking/bathing water quality, daily temperature etc. Many people like myself fear travel, but would really like to if they knew they had the amenities of home. Love your content, thanks for sharing.! :)

Thank for another great review Detailed Traveler! Please help us decide - here or the Hyatt Ziva Cancun? I know its apples to oranges with the Cancun spot being an all inclusive... that being said, wanted to see which you prefer/recommend? (will be bringing 2 kids as well). Thanks so much.

Thanks David for the kind words. Alright these are my thoughts: 1. Price - Ziva 2. Safety of location and surrounding - Cayman 3. Water and Beach - Cayman 4. Excursions - Ziva 5. Pools - Ziva 6. Rooms - Cayman 7. Activities at resort for you and kids - Ziva 8. No Language Barrier in Cayman 9. Airport - Cancun is larger but I know there is a lot of construction right now.

@@detailedtraveler Thank you for the great response D.T. !!!! I should have mentioned, cost would be a non factor as these are 2 of a few of President club trip options I won for 2023. We would just have to pay to add the kids on (if we decide to bring them lol!) was wondering your thoughts on 1 more very important category? (#10.) food? I watched your video on the Ziva Cancun food options, and you didnt seem all that impressed....

Totally understand on the cost and congratulations and I also understand deciding on the kids. 😂 We had two sit down meals at the Westin Restaurants and the rest of the time I was eating at the conference meetings or at restaurants near the Westin. - The food at the Westin Restaurants was a 6 out of 10 I would say. I would say the Ziva Food options and overall quality was a 7 or 8 out of 10 depending on the restaurant. The service is incredible in Mexico every time we go.

Was there any Construction I heard that The Western was supposed to build expansion on both sides of the resort ???

Just to confirm your room was ocean view room and not oceanfront room?

Big difference between Ocean View and Ocean Front. OV they can give you anything as long as you can see water. OF balcony normally but not always parallel with beach and up front.

Totally agree Drew. I had a sliver of an ocean view.
