One of Jean Pierre Van Rossem's former Ferraris: The "Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa"

This Testa Rossa originally belonged to the former French hill climbing champion Regis Frassinet. Frassinet took part in a number of races in the 1960s, including the Le Mans 24-hour races in 1964 and 1965. He also took part in the Trophee de Provence in 1960 with Jean Guichet as co-driver. In 1989 the Ferrari was sold to Jean Pierre Van Rossem. Van Rossem took part in the classic car GP in Spa with this Ferrari, where he also won a few races!

When JP’s cars were confiscated, they were stored in a warehouse of a BMW dealer I worked at the time. As usual, I would see a lot of cars there, covered in a blanket to keep the dust away. One day I would see several cars (under blankets) that were unuasual shaped, as I was used to see BMW’s.
