Thank you for your always profound reactions. When I reached an age where I could no longer call myself "young" and thought, "How am I going to live my life from now on?", I thought, "I don't want to grow old at heart!!" and now I'm studying for my second life. I was hesitant, but what gave me courage was ONE OK ROCK's song, Taka's words, and the way they took on the challenge. It made me think that regardless of my age, I should do what I want to do while I still can. I am deeply grateful to them.

Originally, ONE OK ROCK is pronounced "One o'clock" in Japan. They picked the name because they had rented a studio for their practice with low price at 1 o'clock in the morning in their early years. But now they called themselves " ONE O.K ROCK" overseas. So both are right! I want you to react "I was king" with orchestra ver. please!

They pronounce their band name "one okay rock" in every country, but only in Japanese "one okrock"

Some OOR fans who like their earlier harder rock music really don't like the Eye of the Storm album because they think it is too "pop" but there are many good songs on this album including this one. Taka has said that he doesn't want to just do the same kind of music because it would be boring but wants to evolve and try different styles. Apparently though the album they are working on now will go back to their early rock roots.

Your reactions to OOR are the best. You're one of the very few reactors to fully grasp how good Taka is. Taka writes or paste a role in writing every song they put out. Toru also played a bit role in writing the lyrics. You're going to really love their music pre-2015. Most of their pure rock, hard/punk/emo rock songs are from. Deeper Deeper, The Beginning, Clock Strikes, Let's Take it Someday, and Mighty Long Fall are all from that era. Taka is good friends with Ed Sheeran. He's actually sang a couple songs on stage with Taka. Ed was recently in Tokyo and played Wherever you are with Taka not only on stage but also karaoke. Love this track! The lyrics and the energy of the song esp. the chorus makes me wanna go do everything I ever dreamed about doing. To stop worrying and overthinking every little thing and just freakin do it.

I love this performance, but not many people react to it, so I am very glad you did.日本からありがとう🇯🇵 I am using a translation tool, so the text may be wrong. This song is in a very high key, so he always sang it in a lower key on his overseas tours. On the Japan tour he sang it in the original key. Taka said in an interview, 'I squeezed my voice so hard to sing it, I almost died. I love the way Taka sings with all his might.

Eye of the Storm era is their most “pop”, so personally for me not really my favorite although there are some fantastic songs like this one. I prefer their earlier heavier sound, but the songwriting and musicianship is a constant throughout… Cheers and ridin’ this OOR train with ya, AR! 🤘

I also prefer their heavier stuff, like, example, when ‘make it out alive’ came out I made a happy dance. in public in town. - but honestly every time I go and listen to those songs I remember, almost all of them are really good and I really like them, I just don’t ever think about this or ambition albums as my favourite. but then I rember they are rly great, especially live xd
