I love what Shift has done with their custom line for Kenworth. Amazing additions that really make that rig shine.

With all the things i really love about that truck, the built in fan in the sleeper is my favorite. I really wish all trucks came with that. The vent fans just dont do it right.
@COSSIE19702 жыл бұрын
Wouldn’t it be better to have an air condenser fitted to the cab all those fans do is push hot air around ?
@Bendigo12 жыл бұрын
@@COSSIE1970 The whole point is to move the air around. I need air circulation to be comfortable. Even if it is warm ari moving around, it is better than little to no air moving. The ac and heater vents move small amounts of air really fast but do not really circulate the air very well. A fan moves more air around.

Nice work. Beautiful tractor. I’m sitting in my tenth and last W 900 -L. Always one color with subtle pin striping. I’ve never understood the stripes; especially vinyl stripes. One color is beautiful without stripes. Flames ridiculous. To each his own.

Beautiful But Would someone answer this question? Why doesn’t Cummins put the oil fill in a spot that doesn’t require the use of a funnel? And also make the fill pipe large enough to get the spout of a gallon oil jug into it? Thanks Andy you’re doing a fantastic job

I love the tractor but my question is… if you’re going to spend the money on a brand new ‘23 KW, the best, why would you only get the 72in?!? Please show me the stat sheet if there’s That Big of a difference in weight or MPG.. I’m baffled.. If I’m spending $175-$250k on a top of the line KW I’m getting the 86in Studio!! That is my dream truck; a W900L with the 86in Studio. With all the bells and whistles baby!

Wondering why nobody orders the blue and slate Gey interiors, especially with a blue exterior truck? Or the Bordeaux red and slate grey with red colored trucks? It’s all this black, I’d think that would get quite repetitious?

How much did this truck overall cost?
@chrisdidomizio49582 жыл бұрын
I ordered a 2023 W900B daycab for $244,000 Canadian. That sleeper probably adds $30,000. Lights, fenders, visor, stacks, axle drop plus labour probably added another $10,000
@xTheBloodyDeadx2 жыл бұрын
@@chrisdidomizio4958 appreciate, I’m looking to restore my truck, it already has the transmission and engine, the chassis and the fuel tanks, I need to extend the wheel base for a larger cab and I need to get the day cab portion fixed, I’m trying to get an idea on what the price will overall be, I keep getting told 400k but I doubt it’s that bad. Thank again though

@@xTheBloodyDeadx I semi restored one heavy duty truck, fully restored my personal truck, work on heavy trucks daily and its a lot of work. I work out of a fully equipped shop. Its the time thats killer. You’re probably going to be 2 years into(at least) it if you do all the work yourself. For the money, If you do most yourself, you’ll probably be $60,000 for frame stretch, brakes, minor paint, exhaust, visor and minor wearables-possible to do in 6 months(working into the night) For taking the cab off, fixing sleeper, full paint, shes probably $100,000 plus and 2 years. Its a lot of work and equipment is needed for removal/install and transport. The problem is you have to spend the money outright, unless you get a loan. At that point, I suggest buying one already done. Ive went both avenues.
@xTheBloodyDeadx2 жыл бұрын
@@chrisdidomizio4958 it’s gonna all be done threw the dealership, I’m going to be driving another truck in the meantime to make both those payments and to make money. I just wish Kenworth had a tool where you can build your truck on a website oppose to being in person, at least you can prepare yourself for what you can afford, your not wasting their time, and you have all the more time to plan it out but of course they don’t have that

@@chrisdidomizio4958 I unfortunately got word that my truck isn’t restorable from my boss, my engine among other things are shot and my dealer won’t touch it, it’s to much to rebuild myself so unfortunately it’s done for 😞
