Howard Tullman is hard to sum up. Brilliant Mensch are my best two words. Unlike so many wiz kids who've made it big in the world of finance and commerce, Howard has done so while retaining his soul and passion to translate his success into that of others. Here's his Wiki entry. It provides a quick sense of the range of Howard's achievements and interests.
Howard A. Tullman is an American serial entrepreneur, venture capitalist, educator, writer, lecturer, and art collector. He is the former executive director of the Ed Kaplan Family Institute for Innovation and Tech Entrepreneurship at Illinois Tech in Chicago and the first University Professor appointed at IIT. He is the former CEO of 1871, the current General Managing Partner of G2T3V, LLC, and the current General Managing Partner of Chicago High Tech Investment Partners LLC, both early stage venture capital funds based in Chicago.
Howard started his remarkable career at age 10 selling candy and performing magic. After receiving a BA in mathematics and economics at Northwestern, Howard attended Northwestern's School of Law. Four years later, Howard was admitted to the Bar of the United States Supreme Court. (Nicht schlecht.)
After successfully practicing primarily bankruptcy law for a decade, Howard began his real career -- building one cool company after the next. By 2011, he'd founded Tribeca Flashpoint Media Arts Academy, CCC Information Services, Tunes.com, the Rolling Stone Network, Imagination Pilots, Experiencia, and others.
Howard was an effective altruistic years before imposters like Sam Bankman-Fried anointed themselves with that title. In 2014, Howard became CEO of 1871, a non-profit startup hub located in The Merchandise Mart in Chicago and of its parent, the Chicagoland Entrepreneurial Center (CEC). 1871 (the year of the Great Chicago Fire) was founded in May 2012 and is home to over 495! digital startups.
Howard has also pursued major careers as a writer and, together with his wife, as an art collector. Howard's column, "The Perspiration Principles", has appeared weekly for 8 years on Inc. Magazine's website, Inc.com. The 450 plus articles published on Inc. served as the foundation for Tullman's book series, The Perspiration Principles. He is the author of HindSight, a newsletter on current topics of interest to entrepreneurs and managers. The Howard A. and Judith Tullman art collection is among the largest and most diverse collections of contemporary realist art in America. The collection, which contains some 1,300 pieces, is displayed in the Tullman private gallery and studio in Chicago.

It does not seem that the New York Public Library is available to all: "If you are 13 or older and live, work, attend school, or pay property taxes in New York State, you can get a free digital library card right now using this online form. Visitors to New York State can also use this form to apply for a temporary card."

Larry. You definitely need to upgrade on your end the equipment you are using to capture your voice, i.e., microphone. In these podcasts your voice is never as clear as those you are interviewing. Great podcasts. Would like to be able to better hear what YOU are saying. Thanks!

Further amplifying. Your voice can come across as somewhat muffled with traces of an echo. Just makes it more difficult to clearly hear all your words.
