I love southwest and I realized how great southwest was when I took a flight from PHL to MCO with AA my family booked 6 months in advance for us to be next to each other on the plane. got the the gate an hour early called the night before. we checked in and realized our seats where me in the mid my mom in the front and my dad in the back. but we talked to the guy at the gate but the guy was so rude we then got me and my mom in the front and my dad was still in the back so all I got to say is THANK YOU SOUTHWEST

i wish SWA flew out of EWR to LAS. i take the route on CO at least once a month, and everytime i land at LAS and see all those SWA planes, i get sad. i would love to fly them, if only because they seem like they are so much fun, and i like their business model. i'd give up my upgrades to first class and everything. keep up the good work SWA and hopefully one day you'll fly from my city!

@AIRdomination Nope, it depends on the airline. For example, other airlines that operate Airbus A320 aircraft either have overhead tv's or nothing. Virgin America and Jetblue are the only ones. With Boeing 737s, and 757's, there are usually seatback tv's. Internationally, it depends again. But no, it depends on the airline, not plane manufacturer.

@jcop692003 actually Spirit Airlines charges for everything onboard, from water t juices, sodas and snacks, even carry-on bags, and as of november 1st 2011, $5 to print your boarding pass at the airport if you don't already have it. So you can believe her that she totally knows what's she's talking about :) Spirit is the ONLY airline in the US that charges for everything, although their travel fares are super super low; in Europe, airlines such as Spanair and Ryanair also charge for everything.

@Epica124 Um actually, it is the PILOTS that keep you safe at 35,000 feet, the attendants at that altitude make sure you have plenty of sprite or in the case of SWA, Peanuts. When the plane lands and if there is a problem, then he or she is the one to get you out of the aircraft.
