This movie was great. The characters they use, the artwork/design of the characters, the cast, the plot, everything was great off the top of my head. I haven’t seen this movie in a while but how I remember it, it was excellent. One of the better dc animated movies and that’s saying something, but I’ve also never seen anyone talk about it. Underrated.

This is by far my most favorite DC film because it does something that modern DC doesn't do. Supes and Batman don't hate each other and constantly have plans to kill everyone out of precaution. They even understand and listen to the other superheroes knowing the situation they're in

How and why they never used this type of friendship in the live action movies, i'll never know, Marvel is absolutely crushing DC and it makes me sad that healthy competition isn't happening anymore, perhaps never again. The reason is because of a weirdo by the name of Frank Miller. He is the person who destroyed the friendship of Superman & Batman. His overrated yet influential comic book "The Dark Knight Returns" singlehandedly turned Batman-fans into haters against Superman. Since that time, other writers said, "Yeah, we'll just continue making Batman hate Superman because Batman's fans love it and it brings in money."

Superman all star should be seen next. That movie has everything in it and I highly recommend it. Hope you review the Batman featuring the justice league movies that lead to the apokolips war with darkseid. That movie is dark and shows just a fraction of the horrors darkseid is able to inflict. This movie was fun to watch. Toy man being made into a hero was a big toy push for sales but it was ok I guess. Seeing lex as president and waller as his second in command was nice but lex was so crazy so suddenly that it felt like a cartoon for kids compared to justice league lex who was a genius and used everyone to his advantage and almost won with brainiac

Im surprised you hadn't seen a lot of the movies from the pre-flashpoint era of DC animation, all of their output was great; I dont think they ever made a bad or divisive movie. I like the follow up more, its one of the most anime superhero movie I've seen and batman is used more. I wish they made a third movie with them as a duo, then we could have a world's finest collection.

My big issue with this movie and the comics it was based on is how EASILY it was for the other heroes to fight Batman and Superman just because Luthor told them to. I don’t care that he was the president. This would be like the Batfamily turning against Batman if the Penguin was elected mayor of Gotham. Most of them shouldn’t have been so gung-ho about taking them down.

I forget the actor's name, but the dude who plays Dr. Cox actually WAS a voice in the DCEU. He voiced Ray Palmer/The Atom in a bunch of Season 1 episodes of Justice League unlimited.

This was the kind of Batman/Superman movie we needed. Have them be suspicious about each other but with mutual respect, not an unnecessary and undeserved fight. Zack did some great work but I think he needed Bruce Timm and Paul Dini somewhere on the project.

I love how Billy uses uses his SHAZAM transformation lighting as an actual weapon in this. Also, I definitely agree that the chemistry between Bats and Supes in this is outstanding! "Lex Luthor is my president."

This movies got some great action and character moments for me. A few super memorable scenes that I catch on KZbin all the time. It ain’t the best animated DC movie but it’s up there. I think I like this movie a lot for Superman and Batman being friends. Hero vs Hero just doesn’t interest me nearly as much as heroes being legitimate friends. It’s a big reason why I like the Justice League cartoon. That group felt like family

I'm sure you know the movie is actually based on the first storyline of a Superman/Batman team-up comic. The follow movie is based on the second one. I have a trade that reprints both. In the case of this movie it follows the story pretty closely. The main difference is the ending. In the comics Captain Atom is the one who goes into space and destroys the meteorite. He is blown into another reality which spins directly into Captain Atom Armageddon where he visits the Wildstorm universe.

7:32 at the time I figured the Kryptonite injections were driving him insane. First off, he says the meteor is affecting Superman, when he's the one outright injecting it, therefore, he's clearly projecting whats happening to him on to the boy scout. You then see the frequency of said injections increase as the movie goes on, he's clearly dependent on them, where at first he's able to think of using it, only to put it away, and at the climax he's taking it in mass. As the movie goes on as well, his demeanor changes, the radiation from the injections are clearly screwing with him

I loved this movie. The action was so satisfying, especially when Superman finally stopped going easy on Luthor. When he pushed through the Kryptonite blasts, I was so amazed that I started liking him again for the first time in years. And Luthor was incredibly manipulative, turning Superman’s own cousin against him

About 12 years ago a friend of mine from australia came to my place and i thought showing this movie was the best idea for entertainment (i had watched this before btw) and i remembee giving like a lot of lame commentary for it. He enjoyed it i guess but in the end of the day my friend just wanted to see the local channels on my TV which i deprived him of seeing by holding hin hostage to watch this. But nkw knowing this video with its title excists brings peace to my mind that ny choice for entertainment wasnt a bad choice. Thank you for reading
