Amazing video, Bortnyk! Congrats! 👏🏻 Why is Alekhine’s Defence not played often like Petroff, French, Sicilian Defences and others in a classical Top chess tournament? This was a great sacrifice you did, taking his bishop with your rook to weaken his king-side pawn structure. I guessed this was the move you would make! Towards the end, I think it would be better if you took more time in your presentation to show each move and let each move sink in, so us mortals can see what is happening and think through the moves. Congratulations on a great victory.

Oh yeah !!! Wow, Petrosian must for sure admire those two exchange sac. ... Rxe3 was already beautiful but man ... Boom !!! the 2nd exchange. And that crazy snipper on f6 looking on the a1-h8 diag and then suddenly reminded the opponent that he was still able to shoot on the east-side. Great game my friend.

Everybody knows the Alekhine defense is unsound and refuted by white with the Four Pawns variation, though in most lines white has to accept the loss of K-side castling and doubled f-pawn. Subscribed.
