The Bluetti AC200MAX is one of the best-designed small solar generator power stations. It has great expandability, output, and rechargeability. If you need something powerful yet small then this is a great option. It works very well for VanLife, RV, backup power, or very lightweight off-grid power.

I bought one over a year ago. It has saved my ass so many times! Took it to a job site in the middle of no where and it allowed us to work without needing a gas generator. Also came in handy for the power outages that seem to be happening more often in my area. Cant recommend it enough.

That's great to hear! It sounds like the Bluetti AC200MAX has been a lifesaver for you in various situations. If you're looking for another portable power station, I highly recommend checking out the Segway Portable PowerStation Cube Series. It has an impressive capacity, durable design, and fast recharging capabilities. Plus, it's waterproof and offers comprehensive protections. It could be a reliable backup power solution for your outdoor adventures and home needs.

@@Speed00007 Outside in a ventilated housing , of course tons of other ways. But is also on wheels goes anywhere I need it. Not like your 300lb unit plus extra batteries , plus solar cells. You think that thing is safe in your house? Batteries de-gas as you charge them, not to mention one short in your battery? Would start one hell of a fire or explosion. Ever hear of that happening on planes from cell phones and vapeing stuff. Just think of what can happen if one of those 300lb batteries explodes? And you have 2 or more?

We have used the kzbin.infoUgkxOTeIs0vv4_9B5hsmnLsk9r930uDQLu_Y for probably 30 hours with our camper and it’s been great! The noise level is really only noticeable when running the AC and other appliances like the microwave, hair dryer, or coffee pot. It’s not huge like other ones and it has wheels so even at 90lbs, I can move it!

GOT ONE! Plus an Off Grid TREK 220 watt solar "blanket" (Canadian company). The blanket charges the AC200 MAX so when car camping I always have power to run my cooler and charge my e-mountain bike's TWO Li-ion batteries at the end of the day. A very spendy setup but it beats the hell out of a Honda gas generator and carrying gas cans as well.

You can get a T400 wall charger, which unlike the T500 it comes with, has no fan and is complete silent at 400 watts instead of 500. The added benefit is you can get an adapter and use both the t400 and t500 simultaneously to wall charge at 900 watts then if you want.

Another worthy mention is Bluetti is one the very few that have expandable battery's that can be used separately and can be charged separately . The B300 has a built in 200w MPPT Charge controller. That is one of the major turn offs with the Ecoflow unit for me is if the main unit goes down, the external battery becomes a door stop.

They already came out with the ac200 which was lithium ion, then the ac200p which was lithium iron phosphate and now the ac200max which is a beefed up and refined ac200p. Also the app has an offline Bluetooth mode that doesn’t require any binding or Bluetti account and will just connect you to the unit if you are in physical range.

Could you run wires from the 5521 DC ports and hook them up to the battery leads of an rv house battery? Basically disconnect the house battery and use this instead. Seems like it would be more efficient to use 12v DC direct to the RV 12v system instead of converting DC-AC for the outlets and then the RV converting the AC back into DC for the 12v systems like 12v fridge, lights, and water pump.

Although I've done hours and hours of research, electric still confuses me! I set my van up with 4-100 watt Renogy panels on the roof, 12v lights, maxxair fan, and another 12v item. Then ran 3 house extension cords, all to the same area, with plans on building a system. Now I'm looking into these. How hard is it to get 5 or 6 separate 12v items (mentioned above) hooked to the 12v outputs on these. I understand the cigarette plug. But can I hook my other 12v wires to those other 12v outputs like the dc5521? Please HELP the confused.😊

I’m replacing the noisy ac power supply with a 12v cigarette plug AC>DC adapter for home use, alongside 200w of solar via Xt60 port. The Bluetti DC7909 port says 10amp, but the provided brick is 8. My options for a fan-less brick are 5 or 8. Am I right that the 10amp would charge twice as fast, which is not an issue for my use, but will 5 amp run cooler/safer? I’m just powering my internet and home security system when I leave home for months at a time. I’d rather be safe than fast. Concerns with 10a amp vs 5? Just bought an AC200L to power my refrigerator and freezer when I’m out of town. I’ll hook up 1200 W of solar in the spring.

Go Jackery over Bluetti. I bought into the hype about the AC200MAX I also have a Jackery 1000. Both units lived in the same environment (in a car in Vegas, as I lived in my car for over a year out here) The Bluetti no longer turns on, (am working with Bluetti support to try and fix it.) However the Jackery has never stopped running and has become my now primary power source since the Bluetti has failed me. For the cost the amount of issues with Bluetti is crazy. I will be going forward with Jackery as my solar generator company, Bluetti is trash.

As always, please list the MSRP when you start. ..... Please note that you have a spreadsheet that you should advertise that has a lot of this information, the comparison spreadsheet. You might want to make that a pinned comment. I am looking at a mid-cap as opposed to the Apollo. This would be an option. At 145V/15A (VOC/amps) MAX, it would be interesting to know what would happen if I connected a series 4X 37.4V/7.9 amps panels. All I ever hear is that it will "blow it up" so to speak. Since you were dancing around the edges, it would be interesting to know how these things would react based upon manufacturing specs. Would the register a fault, reset with lower voltage, amps. Using my current panels might require getting the Apollo on a second system. All fun. Good job. Would be interested to know if you can hook up over-voltage on cloudy day, then let it settle in while it's running.

Well if I used it AC300 Max and it can 900 watts of solar well any loads I have would have to be less than 400 watts or at least half of whatever the load is do half of one of the solar is coming cuz if I use something like this guy better than 24 hours a day non-stop. It's cuz I did a year with no exception but the good thing is if you get the batteries of the 300 they take 60 amps of solar input so I can change the batteries as well and that meant makes a difference for the loads but truthfully I probably just use that for whatever used with my 200 watt inverter or for the use my 400 watt inverter for because I never want to run out of power never want to use too much of the batteries that is in the generator just like from inverters I never want to use a hundred percent of the power only rather use 50% of it and always be able to recharge it in the daytime for a used in 24 hour. With no exception.

Know what would be good since they made to so many different types of AC200 it would be nice if they made it so the AC 200 Max could pair up with another to make 4,000 watts even if it won't make 120/240 it would probably still be okay even if it just has 120 volts that make the unit so much nicer and make it for more people.

@minutemanprep
@minutemanprep 7 ай бұрын
Sorry no it will not run it. You need a system with 240v output on it. Most units that are a single unit with 240v output aren't worth getting because you can basically ONLY run a well pump and a few other 120v items. That may be good for now but further expansion down the road becomes problematic and you end up spending more. I prefer a dual unit system where you get 240v by connecting two units together. If your budget allows for that then that's the best way to go. I'm happy to help you get a system worked out if you'll email me at info@poweredportablesolar.com.

Here is a free piece of advice for your Bluetti (DONT THROW THE BOX OUT!) your going to need it! Shipping weight about 65lbs UPS shipping over $100 your cost - EVEN UNDER WARRANTY! Since nobody can fix it but them (Proprietary parts). Wait till the battery starts failing like a laptop, you know the meter says 95% - 5 hours left, and in 10 minutes it says 6% left charge battery or shut down. Me, Ill just put more gas in but not in near 10 minutes. How much will they charge you to replace that battery that didnt last as long as they said but its just outside the warranty period? You might as well buy a new unit, (If you havent learned your lesson) Ill just put a little fuel stabilizer in the gas, change the oil once a year maybe the air filter, possibly a spark plug every 10 years. It will probably run forever, if not - anybody local can fix it. Good luck with it

Many have the same solar input. How many and what kind of solar panels is determined by a device called the solar charge controller. The charge controller changes the solar panel raw voltage into battery voltage so it can safely go into the battery to charge it. Every unit has it's own charge controller and so the specs from the panel and the specs on the charge controller have to be checked to make sure you don't damage the charge controller. info@poweredportablesolar.com

@PrecisionGroupYT
@PrecisionGroupYT Жыл бұрын
@@minutemanprep Ok just a constructive thought, I can follow what your saying but people should know that you can only take them down to 10% by manufacturer default to protect the batteries and maximum charge cycles. So to be fair if the battery is a 2,048wh battery which based off voltage and amps is true and the manufacturer wants you to get the longest life out of the product without damaging the battery perhaps it would be fair to state this so if we can only use 90% of 2,048wh that’s 1,843.2wh available and you got 1,630wh in your test, so 1,630/1843.2 = 0.884 or 88% of available capacity. I would constructively say that all manufacturers of Solar generators probably have a max depth of discharge on their units to protect the batteries and to be fair manufacturers should state this fact in their literature and tech specs. I apologize if this comment bothers you or rubs you the wrong way as that is not my intent I say all this in a constructive conversation only and I thank you for your video!

You know that's the only thing I think about you I don't care about about wall charging because then the power just coming from the inverter and the generators ask you to back up the inverters so that doesn't make so much sense I will never get a gas generator or propane or anything like that I won't even get a charcoal for my grill I don't need to when all I need all I need is a little bits of tiny pieces of wood and embark which I burn for about 4 hours so that works so good so I won't even get charcoal. always all I want is a generators that can be charged off of solar panels and for some reason that makes it even better than inverters because you going to buy so many extra batteries for the inverters instead of bad by embarrassed when the road is by generators and it pretty much comes with batteries are you going to get the batteries for them which is about the same prices you didn't inverter in batteries and then you can buy solar panels even cheaper than you can buy batteries for the inverters usually. What I'm saying is by the generators and their batteries and solar panels for the same cost is what it cost to buy the inverters and batteries not including the solar panels and all those extra hookups and other things that you would usually have to have.

the ac200 the brick does not have the fan on all the time its thermally controlled it turnes on once it starts charging after like a min or so its quiet the inverter kicks on the fan on the unit once and a while its alittle loud thats about it once its off its off for 10 minutes or so.. the ac200 does not have ups so it uses power then charged at 98% so what it does is use batteriy cycles i mean its 1/116 a cycle so you can do this for years and not affect your unit i use one to power a small fridge and power a ac unit with a solar panel.. works fine the max is the only one with wifi but its another 200 or more dollars and the ac200 right now is on sale for 999 dollars 300 off and you can use those extra batts with it too but need the cable so it acts like a charger but at 1000 dollars each extra bat yea you can get up to 5 grand in stuff if you can afford it id do it

can this run an air condition unit split type inverter
@minutemanprep
@minutemanprep 10 ай бұрын
If the mini split is 120v yes, but it would have to be able to plug into it somehow. The follow up question is how long could it run it? And that would likely only be a few hours tops.

Yes. Maybe 1.5 hours tops on high. Max 3 hours on low.

@@minutemanprep and what if it's hooked to solar panels will it run all day?
@minutemanprep
@minutemanprep 6 ай бұрын
@@Alien_isolationist Your solar input has to exceed your inverter output. If you were running 750w and bringing in 800w then technically the solar panels are running the device and 50w would be going to the batteries. That said, in that case, it'd be enough to run the heater all day but as soon as the solar panels stopped producing more than 750w you'd start using some battery.

Will this unit run a reqtec 2500 pellet grill for events and pop-ups? How long would it last me before a charge?
@minutemanprep

Yes it will run that. There's no way to know how long it'll last without knowing everything you're running on it and how much energy each device uses.

First of all theres no such thing as a solar generator. Its nothing but a hugh battery and inverter run by a computer. They have tons of issues. The computer glitchs, the unit has to be shut down and reset to get them running again. Solar is way too slow to keep up with the discharge rate. When it runs down your done. The batteries have a life span of a few years. The price you will pay for new one will almost equal the cost of the unit plus disposal cost. You will never save any money with this thing compared to a real generator. They have error codes that pop up that disable the unit, then get out the manual. Complicated control panels. You will waste alot of money and have all kinds of techincal issues when you could have bought a super reliable honda super quiet generator and just keep it full. Will run forever. If theres a storm you cant even attempt to use the solar panels. It will let you down. And SUPER expensive. Just another high tech gadget to take your money. Keep it simple, keeps it reliable.
