One of the Best Skyrim Home Mods Ever, Sindora's Hidden Hearth, for Xbox and PC (AE/SE/LE)

I completely agree with the Bosmer / Wood Elf home, as I also wrote separately in another comment "...I can even imagine Auri from "Song of the Green"-Mod, who would otherwise, never live in your wooded house, would want to live here instead of her Pod from her own mod. 😂..."

What strikes me right off the bat is how well this is filmed……slowly so we can actually see what is showcased without getting dizzy. Even the zooming is nice and slow to take in everything comfortably. Thank you.

I like to give the viewers time to appreciate the details, so I film slowly, and try to avoid giving viewers motion sickness. It takes a long time to film because I don't like any sorts of bumps or inconsistencies. Glad you appreciated it!

Yes, the exteriors here are fantastic. And the interior looks convenient. I really like treasuries like the one in this house that provide a money sink.

This home is beautiful and straight out of Studio Ghibli or a Brambly Hedge story ❤ It's really well set out, though for me, I'm not into adopting kids so I'd swap that stuff out for a brood of chickens 😀 It's wonderful to have this lovely home available for Xbox, but it's a lot so the Vram goes brrrrrrr 😂 and it's usually a CTD walking through the front door. So, I'd save this home for when I get a PC.

Their is a followers version, too, which has a little smaller file size. In that version, there's no guest house, but there are some archery targets in it's place and a bar goes in the place of the kids' art area. Very similar, though! I LOVE this place.

Thank you! Three of the songs were from Simon Folwar. I stumbled upon his music when I subscribed to Uppbeat as one of my music sources. I was searching medieval music and harp music, and I found him. Really like his stuff! It fits well with Skyrim, as does Vindsvept and Adrian Von Ziegler. Amazing work and passion went into this mod. The exterior is leagues above most others and the level of detail is so many levels above any other home mod. Unfortunately (don't wanna sound all too negative) the interior lighting did not get that same amount of attention. For me lighting can be even more important than details. With so much attention to detail, some more attention to interior lighting could have made it so much better. Thanks for another great vid.

Truly one of my most favorite player homes of all time. If I were better with the Creation Kit I'd add a file to turn this into an alchemist guildhouse with NPC vendors so I could still use it when I wasn't living there.

@@SkyrimPlus Oh yes! I'm a huge connoisseur of Skyrim player homes. I really like Sindora's Cottage because it lets me roleplay as being the NPC's relative or apprentice. BTW, I'd like to request you take a look at the Order of Aetherius player home. The trick is that it requires you to have UNP or CBBE for the 5 NPCs that live there. But it looks like a really cool mage faction you can join. It even has an Alternate Perspective starting option. I'd love to see a review to decide if I want to bother with installing a body mod to use it.

I started to do that one, but I could only figure out how to do the CBBE thing with 3 of the 5 followers. lol The other two had head, hands, and feet, and they were invisible otherwise. That CBBE and Outfit Studio stuff is not in my wheelhouse. You can use the mod with just the women and the robes, though. I'm a little intrigued, since it says that when you complete quests, you can unlock more features in the home, so I might take another look at it, just with them in mage's robes instead of their custom bodies and outfits.

@@SkyrimPlus I didn't realize that I could use it with vanilla bodies and regular robes. The mod seems to say you can't. It would be fantastic, as I don't want the skimpy robes anyway.

@@urbanexotic Yes, they appeared in just normal robes when I installed it. I knew people would be more intrigued to see the CBBE, but I was royally confused and after investing a couple of hours, I wanted a better use of my time, so I started working on a different video. 😆

Thanks! I actually don't play on a modlist, per say. Not like a Wabbajack list. I've just added mods I thought looked good over the years and saw on mod showcases. I think the most visually important mod is the enb, though, which I use Cabbage ENB with Nat 3 weathers.

The problem is my modlist is about 600ish mods. The basic formula is -Cabbage ENB -Nat 3 Weathers -Lux -Blended Roads or Northern Roads -Nature of the Wildlands -Veydosebrom Regions -Skyrim 202x (4k options) -Water for ENB -Just about all El Sopa retextures -Embers If you use just those, you'll have a fantastic-looking game.

Has anyone had a problem with the inside not loading? I just started a new playthrough and cannot get inside. There's no more nearby to clash with it, the outside is fine, but when I open the door, it crashes. It used to load before, now or doesn't at all.

Maybe save your game with your character nearby, close the game, deactivate the mod, reactivate the mod, restart the game, and try again. Let me know if that works.

I don't think Auri would tolerate such a woody place with buildings made of planks, a vegetable garden, ... It's a shame though because this house mod is beautiful and I would really like to have a house that would fit a Green Pact traditionalist like Auri.

See, i play on Xbox, and I found this house a long time ago, I downloaded this house, thought it would be a great house for a character, guess what??? That house sucks. The game didn’t even let me get that close to that house and my game would crash. Every. Single. Time. Disappointed and frustrated, I deleted it and never went back. I get that things may happen, and I have no idea how to make mods, but to everyone out there that makes them, AT LEAST make sure the shit works. I had zero other mods that added things in that specific area so it wasn’t on me. But none the less this house is beautiful. Although the mod don’t work. 🤷‍♂️

I imagine someone who ported it didn't know what they were doing or maybe you have a mod conflict. A lot of people make mistakes when porting PC mods to Xbox.
