I haven't gotten the Lawson Turtles because I'm partially holding out for a 2003 version. The sculpts and proportions are so close to the 2003 designs & this paint job proves that. It may take years but I really want a 2003 line someday.

Minimal ragrets lol, low fomo here. Anyways. Recent interview on YT w SpeekyGeeky, Trevor said no current plans for 2003. That be said, there is a huge interest in it from many fans/collectors. What the community is saying, 80s 90s nostalgia seems to the current focus, when that phases out, onto the 2000s. It’ll take years, but like they said, no current plans, as in we’ll get there later

It's funny because the Mirage comics turtles mocked the multicolored bandanas a few times. This reminds me of a recolored Kevin Eastman poster (minus the different skin tones) that I got outside the theater when I watched SOTO. Pretty cool.

As someone who does custom work (mostly on McFarlane) his pricing actually blows my mind. This is some serious skill (comic shading/cell shading) is no easy task he blew it out of the park. What he’s asking for what he does is a damn bargain. If I didn’t have that damn Keaton Batmobile that I needed plus the movie 6 pack (that I really only need Kilmer and Clooney for…) and the expenses I’ve put into our recent house purchase… I’d jump at the chance to get this done. But since I’m obsessive with the Turtles, I’d probably have to buy another 4 pack just to have both sets. 😂 Incredible work. Simply stunning.

I just recently tried my hand at painting one of those new blue foot soldiers in the original red and gray mirage colors, it turned out alright, but not anywhere near this good, they look like they were factory painted, i take that back, BETTER than factory painted!

The Lair hovers above our heads like the sword of Damocles or the Moon in Majoras Mask. I wouldn't buy it even if i could afford it, and i can't!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 But seriously, I'm a HUGE Paleo-nerd and i feel exactly same way about the JP Gates. Jurassic Park was a pivotal event in my 10 yr old life, significantly fanning the flames of my Paleo-passion but i can't go for these prices. Plus i still have the JP Gate from the vint compound and the talking computer so I'm satisfied. The most disturbingly disappointing part is this Tier Teasing strategy. I'm not affluent enough to gamble more money on the possibility of getting less items when pre-order quantity goals aren't met. The worst part about that fiasco is i ABSOLUTELY LUV the green T. rex varianr but still not worth it IMHO. =-( 😢

При чем это есть и в других наборах, к примеру серия miracle comics от neca, где есть две разные модификации черепашек ( больше и меньше ), но к сожалению у всех черепах этой серии супер опухшие ноги, как и у серии черепах от mezco, как и серии черепах от fury toys ( samurai turtles). У всех этих серий огромнейшие ноги. Они же не деревья))) Как можно прыгать и драться с такими большими ногами? Самые лучшие модели черепашек с адекватными ногами - это модели из по первой части фильма 1990 года, где у всех не только нормальные ноги, но и разные лица и характер ( у моделей из фильма 1990 года - секрет слизи, уже одинаковые идеальные мимишные лица, но это не интересно), но отмечу что очень оригинальна серия turtles - monsters ( из этой серии очень удачны Мумия Микеланджело и Человек невидимка Донателло) По атмосфере мира черепах - это атмосфера в фигурках от mirage comics, где сплинтер хоть и маленький ( 9 сантиметров в высоту), но какой эпичный, как будто из 90-х годов. Так что у черепах от mezco, neca - mirage comics и fury toys ( samurai turtles) большие опухшие ноги.
