I rode 12k kms so far till now in 6 months. Good grip(not Pirelli level), still not wornout comeplety, but fishtailing had begun to combsct that ive set air at 34 now days thinking of changing it. Which would you think would be good for the rear. Front i have vredistien recently

Yes you can swap the tyres but you'll have to use a tube inside if you have spoke rims.

Hello there, if you are thinking of changing the rims I suggest put the stock RE alloys for the gt 650, best interms of safety I have seen many after market alloys crack and break in potholes and along with that the new ceat tyres are a good combination I have risen a friends motorcycle with the ceats they are pretty good. And I think have a higher speed rating than the mrf zapper y's.

The handle bar is close to something like a drag bar, the height is increased so there is lesser pain on the lower back but its still leaned forward so it is still agressive.

Bro I myself is a rookie youtuber with GT 535. I am also in pursuit of new tyres. Till now I am running on Ralco tyre and now want to switch to MRF. Rear one I got Zapper Y 130/70/18. But little worried about front tyre. Because 100/90/18 Zapper Y is the rear tyre of some other bike. Any suggestions on that?

Im thinking the exact same thing you are, but I would still go with thr same tyre because the tread pattern matches so same grip level at both ends and also the 100 section zapper Y is good enough decent speed and weight rating

@@kshitijchari If you do so then I would recommend to flip the tyre rotation direction. Because front and rear tyre's thread pattern direction should always be opposite. That's what I did with Ralco and rode around 14k km.

Yes it's a tubeless tyre, it's called the MRF zapper Y. It comes in stock sizes for the 650

I have changed it recently, you just have to visit the service center and make an advance payment for the tank. They will get the stock from Chennai for you. RE still manufactures this color.

Yes I know, the rating on the tyre is 56P. It has the same load rating as the stock Pirelli but speed rating is lesser and I'm okay with it rarely my motorcycle goes over 150kmph so it's okay for me and also the 100/90/18 zapper Y is used on the rear tyre for some motorcycle and therefore is more curved and had a higher load rating, in my case I have used it at the front because I wanted the same thread pattern on both ends of my motorcycle and is purely a personal choice.

No it's quite alright, initially it did swerve off in any direction you leaned because of the excessive rounding on the tyre but now it's fine the tyre has been worn down and it feels great.

Totally depends on how u ride, what I've found optimal is 80 kmph 6th gear and 3000-3500 rpm. Opening the throttle as little as possible gives best mileage.
