Thanks Shaun great video that's cost me money ! First of all sorry to read you have been off sick. If you've never done it people think lorry driving is easy but in reality its very physical. I went onto Tippers as I thought get loaded tip up. It is if your just hauling aggregate but not if your carting muck away as its getting the shovel out to get the load moving. When you can retire mate. Right the bike. I currenting have six bikes you know when anyone asks how many bikes you have its always N1+ . So I took on board your review and given both the price & my age 73 & thought blow it time for an Ebike then. I live in Eastbourne so it will get me over the South Downs. I don't know whether you have thought about it but I think I might make it a 1x given its an Ebike. As for keeping fit it's harder to as you get older but another good way to lose weight is walking. Regards to Faye Ted

Yeah you know what me and faye have rode conventional mountain bikes for years and even as part of a club doing off road and I'd of never looked at an ebike but since trying a few I'm converted and this 1 has been by far my fave mainly as if the battery runs out it's still pretty easy to pedal ... hope u have a great time on it

I used to enjoy a mountain bike , & being able to go on tracks I couldn’t do legal on my motorcycles . . The old emphysema is starting to take its toll , & I doubt I would be able to even cope with a pedal assist the days . I have a struggle dragging my 200kg motorcycle out of the garage . A hand throttle would be handy , because I would get totally knackered trying to pedal anything on the flat or up hill , they would find me dead in a heap with buzzards circling over me . 😎👍

Hi Shaun, make a change to ride a bike with no engine, but looks fun all the same. Nice looking bike and as you say it doesn't look out of place just like a mountain bike the battery unit is in place were you put a water bottle. Not a bad range about 36 or so miles you could ride it on battery the equivalent from Liverpool to Wrexham ( 37 miles ) I've done it many a time in a car. Hope you get better soon mate I wan't see you pop some wheelies and bunny hops, catch you soon take care

Cheers Shaun yeah mountain biking has always been my thing away from motorbikes, prob do more hours on push bikes than motorbikes but up until recently I'd not gone down the ebike route but really converted now 👍

Shaun, since November last year ive lost 3st using Huel replacement meal drink, apparently it's plant based. Honestly it's the easiest thing I have ever tried, I used to be terrible for biscuits. Just an idea to get you started..That bike looks cracking

Me three re the weight. Put on 8 kilos since the lurgy struck and it's a devil of a job to get it off (Her indoors keeps feeding me 😁). I have managed to lose about 3 kg but need to lose about another 10 kg to be comfortable again.

I'm the same mate. Put on about 28 stone during Covid and its stuck. I used to MTB over Dream for a good couple of hours at least three times a week. As a good mate of mine once said "I really want to get motivated but I cant be arsed" 🤣Need to get back out on my MTB or down the gym or walking. My bike gear is a bit on the snug side too.
